Saffron: But we've been wed. Aren't we to become one flesh? Mal: Well, no, uh... We're still two fleshes here, and I think that your flesh ought to sleep somewhere else.

'Our Mrs. Reynolds'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

vw has inspired me - i will put away laundry.

I do not have a bluetooth- and I get annoyed with people for expecting me to answer my cell phone. esp if I am at work . when I do not have my cell phone anywhere near me. I just don't give out the nuber often. and I always tell people - you can try it , but there is no garuntee that I will answer it. But I like my cell , it is very convienet. but for me to use, not for anyone to actually reach me.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I owe the caller the courtesy of talking to them.

My mom used to have a code when she called. She'd call once, let it ring one time, and then hang up immediately and call back again, in the hopes that that way I'd know it was her and consider bothering to pick up the phone. It worked, mostly, except that when I just wasn't there she got all paranoid.

Coding and Sleeping

Well, I'm off to go hear what a terrible person I am.

Oh dear. Well, please do come back when you're done for an opposing view.

I'm getting the pig!

Well, I'm off to go hear what a terrible person I am.

That sounds... um... fun? If you're relating fun to being stuck in the movie Chainsaw Massacre, that is. Good luck?

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

It worked, mostly, except that when I just wasn't there she got all paranoid.

This is why I could never have such a code. call waiting feeds my paranoia enough, thank you very much.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Gudanov, this frickin counseling ever give you a chance to vent? I mean does anyone ever consider that the other person may have occassionally done something wrong?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

It's time for my annual post of Single-Gal Wonderment.

Chatty!co-worker talks to his wife on the phone AT LEAST twice a day, every day. Sometimes he calls her, sometimes she calls him -- they mix it up.

Every day? Twice a day? What do they have to talk about when they get home?

Married/en-coupled folk, I've asked this before, but I can't remember your answers -- is this typical? Or calling even once a day during the work day?

I have no frame of reference, except that I witness the twice-daily (or more) phone calls of Chatty and Mrs. Chatty, and it boggles my mind.

I'm trying to make it into something sweet and romantic -- like, "I can't go 8 hours without talking to you!" Which I *could* actually understand if it happened maybe once a week. But -- every day?

Input, if you please.

They're just trying to keep you guessing.

Seriously, wow. I couldn't talk on the phone twice a day (everyday!) with even my dearest of friends. And I don't even live with them.

Always Anti-fascist!

Seems like a lot, if it's not "oops. Forgot to tell you to bring bread home, too." Maybe she's Chatty, too?
