Mal: Inara, think you could stoop to being on my arm? Inara: Will you wash it first?

'Heart Of Gold'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Dear Jackholes of the World:

When bored, try doing something to YOURSELF and YOUR STUFF. LEAVE OTHERS AND THEIR STUFF ALONE!

Ta!

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Laura, that's so frustrating. I'm so sorry.

I have helped Emily. I feel all useful and shit.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

That does suck, Laura. I hope it heals up quickly, and that you have a good enough time with Anne to make you forget about it for a little while.

Are there biteable people there, Aimee?

brillig

I am having an interesting moral crisis: I am buying a handgun.

Makarov 9x18 mm. One of the very few semi-autos that fits my small hands. And my liberal tendencies keep pausing and saying, "Handguns, cause of a lot of trouble in the hands of idiots, possibly not really something that should be available." This is countered by, "I can't wait to take a more powerful gun that I can actually handle well to the range."

I'm a pretty good shot, and I pray I never have to aim at something other than paper. Concealed carry permits are too easy to get in Utah, and are considered almost a patriotic duty in some circles. I wouldn't mind the legal ability to have it stashed in my purse if I plan to go into some of the less savory parts of the area. But I don't want to be assumed to be affiliated with gun nuts and NRA fanatics.

I like shooting, it appeals to my femme-macho, and I like knowing I'm a threat. I'm just wrestling with my beliefs.

Not really.

Just a bunch of people I'd want to bite and then stake. Which, while fun, is very messy and would get on my pretty pink shoes.

That's too bad, Aimee. Maybe you should kill time on ebay , finding stuff for us all to buy.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

I understand, connie. I've generally been pretty damned anti-gun, but I'll admit that I've had fantasies of owning one once or twice due to living in crappy neighborhoods. It's an issue it's easy to be conflicted on.

I have an unnatural love for these shoes.

Oh, those are cool. Good thing they'd be too big, even for me.
