Ah, yes, of course. The gypsies, they gave you your soul. The gypsies are filthy people. Ptui! We shall speak of them no more.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

You know, that's hard to type when your "o" is sticking!

I expected that to call SPP out of the ether.

Have a great trip, Laura, my sister in band-aid allergies.

In my dream, I was trying to hide a box that had a body in it among a lot of other boxes. I know that you are all backing away slowly, but there was no killing in this dream, just the logistical problem of hiding the box. I need to watch less television. Or different television.

There were some wild storms and scattered tornadoes here last night, but the damage was mostly west and north of me.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I've been having a lot of very odd/bad dreams lately, that I promptly forget when I wake up. I know a few days back, Juliana was being very mean to me, and that the night before last I spent most of the dream crying, but I've completely forgotten last night's dream, even though I woke up glad it was over.

So turns out the mystery train trip was to York, where I've been wanting to visit for ages. Stayed in a lovely hotel, ate some lovely food and saw all sorts of very old things. Then came home last night for birthday drinks with friends.

Le Bloke is definitely winning at Boyfriends this week.

And here's wishing more bunnies and puppies and chocolate in people's dreams in future. And maybe some cheese.

Ooh, I loved York. I was only there a day, and I want to go back. Intact city wall! Vikings! Huge boyfriend points, there.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for winning boyfriends!

Last night I dreamt I was involved in some sort of convoluted plot to foil criminals, but this was happily punctuated by stopping several times to make out fiercely with House. In my dreams, he's a GREAT kisser.

She's Hott and Wise; He's Caustic with Eyes. They fight crime.

I have completed 5 pages! 25% of the paper is done!

25% is practically finished. Well done.

Yeah, York is gorgeous. The best/worst bit was climbing to the top of York minster. Great view, climb was bit of a struggle towards the end.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Weird dream. My dreams are usually non-political, which is a great relief given how much of waking life is spent on politics. Last night was an exception. I dreamed the U.S. invaded OZ. (as in wizard of, not Australia or the fictional prison) In retrospect I guess it is funny, but it really was horrid nightmare; Toto was killed quite graphically, as was the entire Lollipop guild. It is funny to tell in a dark humor sort of way, but dreaming it NSM - woke up screaming, and still shaking. No more popcorn close to bedtime.

I'm getting the pig!

Laura, have a great time in St. Louis! Yay Nora for hard work!

Getting ready for a busy day. Lunch with a friend at CPK (my favorite!) and then watching the Firefly dvds with another friend.

The big problem, however, is that I can't find my Firefly dvds. I think I loaned them to one of my cousins and never got them back. Damn! I don't really *want* to buy another set of dvds but since I promised my friend that I had them and that we'd watch them, I think I'll be plunking down $25 today after lunch.

No big, really. I can probably get most of my money back by selling them on Ebay. Just an annoying and unexpected inconvenience.
