Giles: Stop that, you two. Riley: He started it... Xander: He called me a bad name! I think it was bad; it might have been Latin.

'Selfless'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Perkins - I missed the owie. Hope today is better. I have macho, muscled teenage boys coming tomorrow to do the heavy lifting, so no worries there.

I have not gotten brave enough to go back to cleaning up that room. Gah.

Mostly lurking...

Has anyone seen the new McDonald's commercial with the two women having lunch together? They're friends who work together, and their conversation goes something like this:

Woman 1: I need to stop being your best friend for a minute and be your boss.

Woman 2: Ok.

Woman 1: You need to stop flirting with John. It's unprofessional.

Woman 2: Ok. Are we best friends again?

Woman 1: Yes.

Woman 2: I think my boss has a crush on John.

It's my new favorite commercial. It just cracks. me. up.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I love that commercial! It is too damn funny.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I haven't seen it. But, that's probably because I Tivo everything and fast forward through the commercials.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Megan, peace-and-strength~ma to your MiL and family.

Mikey, healing~ma to the uncle and a little common-sense~ma, too.

Perkins, I'm sorry I missed your owie! Hot baths, tea, loving kitties and chocolate to you.

Suzi, moving~ma. Don't do anything your back/shoulder wouldn't like.

ION, it is grey and rainy here. I want my binky. But I'm at work, so of course I can't have a binky here. Still, I think we should start a "take your binky" to work day. It would make nasty days like this more bearable.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

{{Perkins}} I get to see you tonight! And Suzi!

Mikey, come~to~his~senses~ma for your uncle. That's a hard situation.

{{{{{{{Megan and family}}}}}}} I'm so sorry.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Perkins, I hope you keep getting better. You fell too late in right coast time for me to say at the time, "I hope you don't feel too bad in the morning, and I can certainly emphasize." As you know, gravity is not my friend either.

Megan, strength to you and DH's family.

I don't seem to be getting anything done of a paying nature. Maybe I should go outside and chainsaw something before it rains.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Megan, I'm so sorry about your MIL. Getting a terminal diagnosis is such a difficult emotional space to negotiate. I hope she passes peacefully, painlessly with her loved ones around her.

Perkins, you gotta work on being more nimble. I think we need to train you in parkour.

I lopped off my hair today, made nummy dinner and then burnt my knuckle. Well, it can't all be good.

Lopping is good! What's it look like? (aside from pretty - we'll just presume that)

I love the round of spring haircuts. Nutty, Nora, Cass. And Teppy's overdue at the salon. Anybody else?

meara - Apr 07, 2006 6:55:22 am PDT #7866 of 10001

I got my hair chopped from shoulder length to between earlobe and chin...

Hi everybody! I'm waiting for my laundry to be done so I can pack and drive down to North Carolina. Woohoo!
