I hope both back and ankle shape up quickly, Perkins. Any chance you can rest them today? (As in, all day)
Just a quick post to wish everyone a good weekend. I'm off to visit some friends in MD. In 54 minutes. I have to pack and shower now. Looks like I'll be putting make-up on in the car (which is OK, because I'm not driving.)
I am getting a haircut this afternoon and have decided (for no reason, except I thought it would be fun) not to tell Tom, so I can TA-DA! when he comes home from work.
But what if he reads this?
OH NOES!
It's doubtful, he never pokes his head in Bitches, unless I tell him to check something out. It's sort of an unspoken agreement. Also, if he does, then he has totally been spoiled and it will just ruin his own surprise!
ION, I am passing Iron Chef style Tasting and Judgement on a mix my friend Doug made for me. It's fun! I love sanctioned hooky days. Having a mild low grade hangover is definitely helping with not doing anything useful or productive. Which is sort of what I need today.
Silly me! I let Emily run off with my umbrella, 'cause I wasn't gonna go out today. Except, I'm walking to the theater today, 'cause it's only about a mile away, and it's gonna start raining just about the time I'm leaving.
Is it mean to say that one song on a mix is the Poochie of the mix?
Is it mean to say that one song on a mix is the Poochie of the mix?
Ahahahahaha!!!! Isn't this the Simpsons-themed mix you mentioned a while ago? If so, then I'd say it's *perfectly* okay to identify the Poochie of the mix and label it as such.
I'm criticising his mix to me (the Ladies Ladies Ladies mix) but it's the person I made the Simpsons mix for. Here's my comment in its entirety.
Interlude (Souxie and Morrissey)
Now, this was a bold move, including a man on the ladies’ mix. I do not know if it works, though, especially since it is RIGHT BEFORE a string of my very favorite songs on the mix, and I get impatient with the pacing of this song. It’s like the Itchy and Scrathy and Poochie episode where they are on the way to the fireworks factory and Poochie stops them and we, like Millhouse, KNOW that something so cool is going to happen so the interlude (aptly enough) is almost unbearable. So, in conclusion, this song is the Poochie of the mix.
I'm still at home. I slept in until 7 and have been going through the toys in CJ's room. He is headed to school and I have to take a break. Dang that kid has a TON of toys.
{{{Perkins}}} Back-and-ankle~ma.
Nora, I hope you have a good day off from work.
MG, good luck cleaning out CJ's room.
Girls night tonight is being turned into take the nephews (David and my other friends nephew, not the baby) to Dave and Busters. It should be fun.
Perkins - I missed the owie. Hope today is better. I have macho, muscled teenage boys coming tomorrow to do the heavy lifting, so no worries there.
I have not gotten brave enough to go back to cleaning up that room. Gah.
