Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Yay for being home, Deena, and welcome back online!

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Oh! Deena! Congrats on the new house! How are the Works in Progress reacting to the new digs?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yay Deena's back!

I lopped off my hair today, made nummy dinner and then burnt my knuckle. Well, it can't all be good.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You're doing much better than I am, Cass. First I hurt myself, then no one cared except sj, and then I realized all of my pain meds except 2 tablets of advil are at work.

I did have yummy sushi for dinner though, so it wasn't all bad.

Well, yes, cause I scored a sassy new do. But it'd been a long time, I was really overdue for one.

How did you hurt yourself? I thought I'd only skimmed but I missed it.

Sushi sounds nummy. I won't talk about my dinner, you wouldn't have liked it much. Now I want the wasabi flying fish roe though as well.

It's the hair loss, it's throwing you off balance.

How's Portland? I'd say how things are in Melbourne but, well, it's Melbourne. What more needs to be said?

Oh! I know what needs to be said! The Melbourne International Comedy Festival kicks off next week. It's very exciting, and I'll need to plan out which shows I want to go to.

Tripped, think I screwed up my back trying not to fall down, but did anyway, pretty sure my ankle is in not good shape.

I decided not to have the wasabi tobiko tonight, even after the sushi chef asked me if I forgot to order it.

Just wait til the next time I shower... It's all happy going to scrub the hair and whoops, no more hair.

Portland is nice. The weather has been quite beautiful. A lot of rain but only for part of the day. I was wandering through a wonderful neighborhood today - spent hours walking and admiring a five-foot tall wood Buddhas. I am getting much more comfortable here.

And I am heading back home for Easter next weekend where the neicelet is going to be back for a few days. So I'm thrilled about that as well.

Oh, that's good news.

Damn. I assume you are icing and resting and all? I hope it is much better than you expect in the morning.
