Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Librarian Warlord

Congratuations Sister of Fay!

Congratulations to Deena on the new house (and her new neighbors, who are about to discover how lucky they are to have her in the neighborhood)!

vw, I trust that the doctors have looked into this and that they are right. ::crosses fingers, hard:: I hope that they discussed it with you, and that you got to ask all the questions you wanted so that you will, ultimately, feel comfortable with this course of treatment, even if it's making you anxious now. However, if you think that the Doctors would take better care of you if threatened with bodily harm, feel free to threaten them with the wrath of the Bitches. If you thought our ~ma was powerful...

What is even happening?

Yay, housed and cabeled Deena!!!

IOON, I'm terrified, though. Someone tell me that the NP and doctor are right...that I won't get the myopathy symptoms again, even though they haven't completely gone away...that they had to do with the length I was on the steroids, and since this is such a short course (five days), I won't possibly get symptoms.

Are they giving you oral steroids, or nebulized steroids? Chris has had way fewer symptoms with the Pulmicort than he had with the Prednisone? Granted, it's been a few years since he had Prednisone, and none of his symptoms ever included myopathy, but my understanding is the Pulmicort minimizes the side effects, because it's a smaller dose, and it's breathed right into the lungs.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart
