Whoa. Good myth.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

On the Drift (Firefly/Serenity inspired music for anyone who is unfamiliar), and the Distributor is in Portland, OR.

Linky, Epic, please? Googling the CD title gots me bupkes.

Your wish is my command.

Hee. The little blurb about the CD:

With a fervent accoustic style, the Bedlam Bards perform music inspired by Firefly and Serenity. This album is selling faster than ice planets, so order now while you still can.

Ashamed of myself for not meara-ing, lesse what comes to me...

GRE-ma to SA, toe-ma to Deena (with accompanying job-not-being-asshats-ma for Greg), bruise-ma for Emmett (smaller ones or larger, his call), iron-ma for vw

Raq & Mal - both beautiful.

So, would have been a teense late this morning...except for the friggin' trains. I don't take the train, but I (very unfortunately) take a surface street that is perpendicular to the tracks. When the (Bastards!) trains run too close together, my street gets backed up, literally for a mile or so, like today. So I come hurrying in at 20 past, hoping I can just quietly get to my desk and unobtrusively get going. Except I run into my supervisor (leaving the desks next to me) in my aisle. Then, because things weren't lame enough, as she says, "Good morning," I trip on my (half-size too large 'cuz my fake Uggs didn't come in half-sizes) boots.

So, not only was I 20 minutes late, it looked like I was drunk or hung over.

Perfect.

Oh yeah.

I'm sorry, but peanut butter on a hamburger just sounds like ten kinds of wrong.

You just don't understand the beauty that is the Dion burger.

I think I'm with Burrell on this one, but it's intriguing.

See, I was leery the first time I ordered one, but thought I might as well give it a shot. Ah, the lovely, melty, chunky peanut butter & crisp bacon-y goodness...

I'm suddenly quite hungry. And no way I can make it to The Corvette Diner & back on a lunch break. Maybe dinner plans...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

Trudy, I was just at the grocery store, and I saw Hello Kitty POP-TARTS!

I fucking hate antibiotics.

I'm definitely with Nora on this one.

signed, off to get more yogurt

I'm taking 1,000 mg/day of Cipro for my ear/sinus infection. I take a probiotic every day anyway, and eat yogurt most days, but I still have a sneaking suspicion that every organism -- bad or good -- inside my body (and within a 1,000-yard radius outside it) is going to get annihilated.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have to go get antibiotics tonight because of my sinus/throat/ear infection. Maybe I should get yogurt too.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

But, at least, I have to tools. And I teach other people to have the tools. And sometimes knowing you have the tools is enough. It's better than nothing.
Exactly why the stalker thing made me realize time to get some self-defense tools and possibly flirt with a martial art or two. It's not that I feared for my physical safety when she showed up again, but it made me realize that I should definitely plan ahead for it.

It was a burger with cheese, bacon, and avocado. Yum.
Also a valid burger threesome. As long as all of the condiments are consenting, I have no qualms with what people put in their mouths or on their burgers.

Maybe dinner plans...

See? Housework is evil.

I just culled my shoe wardrobe to 15 pairs total. That includes slippers, sandals, fancy shoes and everything. I probably could have gone lower but there are four pairs of boots and boot-like shoes that I need to honestly try out before I make the commitment to keep or donate them.

Trust my rage

I feel so stupid for asking this, but does Nilly's post in press mean that Wolfram is a new dad? If so, a big congratulations is on order! Now we have two beautiful new baby girls.

Also, JenP I'm glad to hear the surgery went well and you are doing well.

I had more, but I forget now.

Yes, you should. I am finally done with my antibiotics today!!!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

does Nilly's post in press mean that Wolfram is a new dad?

More that he's a dad again.

Trust my rage

More that he's a dad again.

See, this is why the internet is hard. In my effort to avoid assuming that he was married (which I assume he is), I ended up implying that this was a first baby. Either way, new babes are cool.
