'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

I have class tonight. Don't wanna.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm sorry you don' wanna, ChiKat. Can you skip? Plead sickness?

--and here, Beverly's mind goes instantly to the friend whose employer let her staff call in scared, or lazy, or silly, for however many days per year. What a concept. It should be adopted by every employer everywhere, like, ever.

Happy Birthday, Stephanie! I hope you've had cake!

t shallow question time

Why does Apple make cool black Nanos, and then put the same old white headphones with them?

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Happy Birthday Stephanie!!!

snow in New York

I'm happy to say, we have no snow in Juneau today. Unless you count the mountains. Or the lower mountains. Or, actually, anything above town. But definitely no snow in town.

I also have a "Trigger Point" massage scheduled for 4pm. I have found a spa that is 3 blocks from my house.

Yeah! And also, I'm so jealous! My back, her name is Knots today. Alas, I see no massages in my immediate future. I may, however, get home in time to see a complete ep of Bones, which I have not been able to do for months, so...yeah?!

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Meara and Hil and I all had dinner at this great restaurant today. It was tapas-like, but Mediterranean food. Which meara and I agreed was definitely the best chicken schwarma ever.

Yum.

When are you going to come out here?

I'm really hoping to come out the Monday after the F2F. But the plane fare's a tetch high, so I don't know how feasible it will actually be. It would be like my graduation gift to myself, though.

Oh, if you can swing it, that would be really cool. You can stay with me, if you don't mind being that far out of the city.

Thank you! The Zmayhem house has offered sanctuary as well, so I might split my theoretical time between multiple places, if folks wanna see me.

Trust my rage

Thanks again for all the birthday wishes. I've had a (cup)cake, so I think that counts. We had a nice dinner at the house of our friends. I didn't have to cook and we had ice cream so it was a fun time.

GC, that letter is crazy late. What's the postmark on it? (I was sort of wondering if they just forgot to send it?)
