Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

ME TOO! I went to bed late, hoping to sleep in. But, nope. Apparently, my body thinks I need to get up at 6am.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My morning newscaster is kind of adorkable. She just announced the discovery of a man-eating dinosaur, then stopped before the next story to explain:

"I have to apologize, it said meat-eating but I said man-eating, because I'm an alarmist, and I watch a lot of seventies tv, and I was thinking about Land of the Lost and everyone running from the dinosaurs..." and then she had to stop because she and the other anchor were cracking up at her too hard to keep talking.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I have listened to FOUR separate conversations about American Idol.

Jebus.

No offense to AI lovers.

I just feel my brain slowly rotting away. Though, I am fully prepared to admit that may just be my brain, and it has nothing to do with AI.

"Fuck Western ideologically-motivated gender identification!" Sulu gasped, and came.

My diamond shoes are WAY too tight.

See, my curly-toed & pearl-encrusted golden shoes are comfy as comfy. 'Course, the pearls are faux. That may make all the difference. But they sort of match the shocking pink & gold bag with its faux gold coins all ajangle, and that definitely matches my faux gold coin jangly ear rings.

...metaphor? What?

this post brought to you by Fay's House of Sensible Clothes for Teachers. Tra la la la...

(ION, I am in love with the dinosaur newscasting lady. Love. Love. Love.)

Ok. There's slash on Regis and Kelly, between Regis and Tony Danza. I'm disturbed, but can't turn it off.

Because books.

Ew, vw. That's just...very wrong.

Also? It's snowing here. Mother Nature is totally On The List.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

That is disturbing vw. I think I'm glad I'm at work already so there is no temptation to watch the train wreak.

Go walk Toto - that will get you away.

Its snowing in flurries here. It's quite nice, actually. The sun is shining, but it's very cold, and then occasionally there'll be a quick snow shower while the sun is still beaming down. Pretty.

The slash is over. Thank god.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

My diamond shoes are pinching slightly. Perhaps I should find Fay's pearl-encrusted shoe vendors.

Anyway, I got myself a nice new spring outfit yesterday. A cotton knit sweater with a scoop neckline and lettuce-edge trim in melon, and this skirt: [link]

I'm wearing them now, looking pretty good, feeling pretty comfy and cute. And my hose throw a ginormous run from my hip to halfway down my calf. I was just sitting here, reading my email, and boom--spontaneous destruction.

Oh, well. I'm glad to hear that Emmett's fever's abating. Sorry about the insomnia, Jilli.
