Its snowing in flurries here. It's quite nice, actually. The sun is shining, but it's very cold, and then occasionally there'll be a quick snow shower while the sun is still beaming down. Pretty.
'Serenity'
Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
The slash is over. Thank god.
My diamond shoes are pinching slightly. Perhaps I should find Fay's pearl-encrusted shoe vendors.
Anyway, I got myself a nice new spring outfit yesterday. A cotton knit sweater with a scoop neckline and lettuce-edge trim in melon, and this skirt: [link]
I'm wearing them now, looking pretty good, feeling pretty comfy and cute. And my hose throw a ginormous run from my hip to halfway down my calf. I was just sitting here, reading my email, and boom--spontaneous destruction.
Oh, well. I'm glad to hear that Emmett's fever's abating. Sorry about the insomnia, Jilli.
If adorkable isn't in the dictionary, it should be. That's the perfect word for the mistaken newscaster. She's making me giggle.
ION, I finally picked up tax forms last night. Guess that means I need to get serious and start digging out receipts and stuff. Ugh. I've got about 6 months worth of unfiled statements and stuff to go through to find what I actually need. Still, I should be getting money back this year, which is very much of the yay.
BTW, Nora -- did you hear that Prince is going to be on AI?
(Just teasing.)
Okay, my co-worker has been out sick all week. Everyone send her lots of health-ma because (selfishly) I need her to be here!
I've started coughing a lot again. I'm wondering if I should start the nebulizers on a regular basis again until the spring allergies pass.
Not!Emily asked me this morning if I'm sick again. Ugh. I hadn't realized it's gotten so bad.
ION, I need to turn the tv off. I just saw a law commercial aimed at people who take one of the medications I'm on. They listed all these potential side effects, and if you've had them, call them, and they'll get you money.
I think more than being effective, these commercials scare people. And there are people who REALLY need these meds. It makes me angry.
It's snowing here.
Thanks, vw, for the birthday wishes.
I can't believe it's snowing in places. It's cool here, but definitely spring.
It's dreary and cold here, but not snowing. (I think it rained early this morning, but it had stopped by the time I woke up.)
Happy birthday, Stephanie!
