Having a minor freak-out. Need to just hold onto feelings till therapy this afternoon. I don't want to page my therapist this morning when I'm gonna see her in a few hours. I can do this.

But, in trying to vent a little, and maybe take mom's mind off of some stuff, I called and vented. I think I hurt her feelings.

I suck.

Oh, sweetie. BTDT with the whole calling mom out of desperate need to connect and vent and inadvertently saying something wounding, and all the guilt. No fun at all. That's what sucks, not you. You (you know the drill already) don't suck. You've had a horrendous past few weeks and, all things considered, you're considerably more functional than 99% of the planet would be under the circumstances. You're also entitled, like 100% of the planet, to make a mistake or say the wrong thing every now and then without crucifying yourself for it.

Thinking good thoughts for you and your mom today.

Not that there's anything wrong with that.(raises hand) Thankful Mom can be good with my pain, even if we are more Munch & Stanley than Lorelai & Rory... but her mom was more like Patsy from AbFab crossed with Livia Soprano, so we're okay.

Jen, I am glad the treatment is going so well.

Olivia had her 2 month appointment today. All's well and she's in the 50th percentile across the board on her weight and measurements. She's nearing 12lbs. She still doesn't outweigh the cat. In the case of Perkins' cat, it would take two Olivias to do that, I think.
