He's almost 10 now and she still calls him Rachel, although now I'm sure it's only to piss him off. His name is David - it comes with several nicknames built in but mostly? He's still Rachel.
That's one of the cutest things I've ever heard/read. When they are both older and have matured, that will always be a bond between them... something so simple.

I believe that Karl and I could have an It's German, Damn it name support group. Nobody in this part of the country says it right. That's how I can guess his name rhymes more closely with Gleason than Scheisse. Which is lucky, all the way around.
