She just... she just did the math.

Kaylee ,'Objects In Space'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

which is occasionally initialised to "OBJ," which reminds me of LBJ and makes me giggle.

Now that you mention it, it makes my brain start in on "L-B-J took the I-R-T..." and then I start thinking she went to the wrong coast, dagnabbit.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

What can I say? It's a gift.

Which is a blessing. Clearly I'm not nearly pedantic enough.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Also crushing on amych, but crushing on Karl and his spicy brains more.

how do you pronounce your Karen

It's a 'Kah-run', with slightly more emphasis on the first syllable, but both of them still very short. 'Nicola', I would tend to pronounce 'NIC-o-lah' rather than 'NIC-o-luh', but I wouldn't find it an odd pronunciation at all.

I'm getting the pig!

He's almost 10 now and she still calls him Rachel, although now I'm sure it's only to piss him off. His name is David - it comes with several nicknames built in but mostly? He's still Rachel.

That's one of the cutest things I've ever heard/read. When they are both older and have matured, that will always be a bond between them... something so simple.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

So. I was busily working (shut it. sometimes I actually work.) so very, very busily that I failed to realize that my iTunes was stuck on repeat. For roughly an hour. And I didn't know. For an hour. One song. An hour.

If it helps any, my minion this morning was telling me (alllll) about some King Crimson song with a spoken word bit in it, that also includes some line about "When I'm stressed I repeat myself" over and over.

He told me about it three times.

Always Anti-fascist!

I believe that Karl and I could have an It's German, Damn it name support group. Nobody in this part of the country says it right. That's how I can guess his name rhymes more closely with Gleason than Scheisse. Which is lucky, all the way around.

I adore all you motherfuckers so much -- PMM.

And Erika causes me to irrigate my sinuses with Coca-Cola. Funny, but ow.

(Quite right on the rhyming, btw.)

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Is there such a thing as oppressive snuggling? Harvey will NOT leave me alone, and I'm tired of holding him. When's Daniel getting home?

Art Crawl!!!

Yes! I have a cat who gets like that sometimes too.
