Now tagless for your comfort.

DH watched the kids while I slipped out to see V for Vendetta. I'm thinking that for someone of my political persuasion, I should have seen something a little less inflammatory.

Why am I thinking that Not!Emily is a sexist asshole on top of being a lazy slob? Because while he should go play hockey, the girls get to clean up after his non-rent-paying ass??? The fucker.

The status is NOT quo.

t waving tiredly

VW, I want to smack Not!Emily silly. He'll be Schmacky the Man-Pony when I'm done with him, I'll tell you what. Grrrrrr.

Jilli and Pete have also killed me ded with the cute. I can't wait for the F2F to see all of you, you know that?

In meme news...I have two biggish things going on:

Thing the First: I will be leaving very early (uber early) Monday morning for a four-day canoeing trip down the Colorado River (starting in the north of Arizona). I'm chaperoning the freshmen from my current school, and I'm very excited. This means that I will be completely out of reach--cell and email and web--from Monday morning until very late Thursday night.

Thing the Second: I think tomorrow morning I will be accepting a position at a different school for the coming school year. Meep!

Flops into thread.

Hi All

Mom came home from the hospital today. Just half a step short of leaving AMA. Sigh. Then I go to pick up her meds and they gave her OPIATE perscription to the wrong patient. WTF?!?!?

Am too tired for words.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Have a great rafting trip, Kristin.

MG, The hell?

Then they were going to courier the perscription from the wrong patient to my mom. Ummmm. Yeah. So, how do we know it has not been contaminated or otherwise messed with?

Heh, they just called. They are dispensing fresh meds and couriering them to my house.

MG, you've got to be kidding me! Sheesh.

Cass, actually no rafting--this is a calm part of the river. Just gentle canoeing.

Yeah, but were you beltless?
We were being eaten from our bottoms and you expect we remembered belts?

K, happy floating!
