This is so nice. Having everyone together for my birthday. Of course, you could smash in all my toes with a hammer and it will still be the bestest Buffy Birthday Bash in a big long while.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

If she doesn't stop calling me with "good" news? I am going to end up being honest. And nobody wants that.

You must chill. You must chill. I have hidden your keys. Remember, you are one of the few bastions of sanity in these poor children's lives. Let's work on preserving that. Calming breaths. Find your center. Etc.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I only watch to protect you from yourself. And terrorism, of course.

Should I put on lipstick?

Dammit, cover blown. All I can really see is this big flamey eye.

I need to put on lipstick, though. So, yes?

So, possible silver lining, as twins they'll have each other to rely on. Might help.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Being a twin is cool--but raising them is HARD. Your sister is lucky to have you, Cass.

Owen refused to nap today, in spite of an hour spent running around the park this morning. So he was sitting in his booster seat coloring with crayons and stickers a few minutes ago and DH called me up to take a look. He was falling asleep SITTING UP. Literally nodding off at the table. It's freakin' 6:30--too late for a nap.

I just put him down on the sofa. I hope he doesn't sleep too long.

I hope he's not up to late tonight, Cash, but that's an adorable image.

His sitter told me last week that he was falling asleep standing in his crib the one afternoon she keeps him. He's stubborn. I have no idea where he gets it. ::whistles::

I'm also kicking myself for not taking a picture.

So. Adorable.

Durn.

I'm going with the "twins will have each other" silver lining. And the "try to keep my damn mouth shut" when I am there for Easter.

Cashmere, can you change his diaper and put him in bed for the night? We've certainly done that. Actually, Chris fell asleep before or during supper, last week. We carried him upstairs, had him pee, then tossed him in bed. Luckily he was wearing sweats and was clean (enough).

Cassie, you keep your mouth shut by imparting the curse on her. Usually, only mothers can impart the curse, but I think as her sister (and as her sister) all the mothers I know would make an exception for you, in this circumstance.
