brenda, I think you already got your lucky moment, in that the misdirected e-mail was a nice one, rather than a "That bitch" one. That said, it's 5:19 here, so I think you should get to go home now, because you have so many friends and acquaintances in the eastern time zone.
'Objects In Space'
Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, don't I know it. I'm still a little panicky, even though I've already gotten a v. nice response to my mea culpa.
so I think you should get to go home now, because you have so many friends and acquaintances in the eastern time zone.
OK!
My sister just called me with more good news. Twins.
::headcouchheadcouch::
Due in November. Which at least begins to explain her massive mood swings (okay, miserable extreme bitchiness) just before I moved.
This weekend? Take pictures of broken stuff cause I finally remembered to buy a disposable camera today. Yay me.
Twins.
Oh. Dear.
Huh.
(Boss still chatting. Me not pleased.)
Can't believe I forgot to say Happy Birthday to the lovely LibKitty. Happiest of Day After B-Day to you!
I've decided I'm having a birthday week this year, so you're not late at all, Epic! And thanks!
Tonight's installment of the birthday week involves going with a friend to pick gift books for my (currently non-existent) church library from another, very generous, denomination's regional office. Said books will then sit in my apartment until we have a building again. I'm shooting for a year, but I think I may be optimistic. Then, dinner and a movie! I'm not sure if we'll go for Ice Age II, Inside Man, or some video at my friend's place. On Saturday, shopping and our youth group is having a fundraiser. On Sunday, my quartet is singing at church for the first time, after all of us remember to spring forward.
kitty
All this talk of kitties is really negatively impacting my ability to skip and skim. Every time someone puts kitty, I have to stop and read. Of course, they're neat and interesting stories, so I guess that's ok. (I'm working really hard at not adding an emoticon here. You should all be very proud of me.)
{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{{vw}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}}} All is not lost. There is hope. The school things will get figured out and the body things will get figured out. They may both take more time and energy than any of us would like, but, and this is important, NONE OF THIS IS YOUR FAULT. Eventually, both you and the school will understand this. It's not like you just got bored or overcommited. You had serious medical issues and you were following doctor advice at every step. You can drown your school with letters from your doctors, teachers, advisors, supervisors, etc., if necessary. If you're friendly and persistent, eventually you'll get to that "right person" Sparky was talking about. And we'll all be with you throughout the process, as will many other people that I don't know that clearly care deeply about you.
Your birthday week sounds wonderful, libkittty. I'm so glad you're enjoying it.
Huh, my ability to remember what I was going to say only extends back one post.
Oh. Dear.Seriously.
If she doesn't stop calling me with "good" news? I am going to end up being honest. And nobody wants that.
Hey, Cass, relax your jaw.
I'm sensing some tension.
::looks around::
Is there a camera in here? I just started the stretchy yawns. Cause I could feel the tension.
If she doesn't stop calling me with "good" news? I am going to end up being honest. And nobody wants that.
You must chill. You must chill.
I have hidden your keys.
Remember, you are one of the few bastions of sanity in these poor children's lives. Let's work on preserving that.
Calming breaths. Find your center. Etc.
