'The Killer In Me'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

How, exactly, do you make a cat authentically Civil War-period? Put a little hoop skirt on it? Make it wear a little Union uniform? Huh huh huh??

He looks quite dashing in a waistcoat and vest.

OR...

Is your cat 200 years old?? WITCH! WITCH!! BURN HER!

He's my wee familiar. And, if you try to burn me, he will hurt you. He's got the Glowing Eyes of Doom...

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Robin, I'm very curious to know your BF's opinion of the new Passat. Has he looked at the new Jetta? I rent a 2006 Jetta when my car's in the shop, and it irritates me. I wonder if it'll be better with the new year.

Thrive to spite them

That looks like my cat! Esp with the white spot on her chest. Except my kitty's eyes look kinda weird because of the ring of graying/white fur around them.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My plans tonight involve dropping by Dylan and Susan's to drop something off, picking up comics, then Wacky Pagan Bowling. Curiously, I'm NOT going to the ComicCon, but am instead planning to hit the Eastside Mothers of Multiples annual rummage sale for baby gear and then wandering the Quad at the U.

Art Crawl!!!

My plans -- a mad scramble through all my stacks of paper to try to find my tax forms that I put in a "safe" place.

Also, big grocery shopping needs to be done.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

updating the Gothic Charm School website somewhere in there.

Jilli, I showed The Boy the GCS website, and I think now he has a crush on you (mostly for your commitment to your personal style, and specifically the corsets). You have another fan.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

My plans:

Tonight - running, then barhopping to help distribute 1-year anniversary fliers for a friend's restaurant.

Tomorrow - running, then going over to Deb's to help her install a desk drawer, then her coming to my place to help me install shelves, then dinner. Also, possibly New Wave City, if I can talk someone into going with me.

Sunday - resting. Maybe a trip to Target.

Hivemind fashion question: what do we think of this dress? [link]

Specifically, do we think it would look good with a knee-length petticoat? Do we think it would do that nice hourglass thing, or does it look like it would be too full through the waist, and that I'd have to take it in a bit?
