Gwen: Demon, OK? The whole nine—cloven feet and horns and teeth. He wasn't wearing lamé though. Lorne: Yeah, the evil ones can't pull it off. It gets camp.

'Harm's Way'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I'm thinking this is not itchy related. I'm guessing....landlord malfeasance.

Coding and Sleeping

He's an amazing little 3 year old. He shocked someone at the grocery store yesterday when he started reading all the boxes on the shelves aloud. Unfortunately this means he can read the instructions on how to operate child-proof stuff.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Fay. I have a great-aunt who moved to Thailand. You should have no problem. She is living on social securiity, $800 a month, and moved there, because on that amount she lives like a queen. She had a weight problem , but has lost ten pounds . She walks everywhere never cooks, eating out all the time. Apparently in spite of its scrumptios nature of Thai food it is easy to eat healthfully in Thai resteraunts.

Also I get the impression from her that though not exactly a free country, Thailand is pretty freewheeling as long as you avoid obvious errors liking dissing their royal family. Kinda like the U.S. in that regard was her comment.

Right. like after living in Egypt you need tips on navigating authoritarian societies. And Thailand is nowhere near that either politically or culturally.

Very very friendly, says great-auntie.

I'm getting the pig!

My friend suggested that it will be sort of like a Japanese lacquer bowl.

I think that sounds rich and gorgeous. Of course, we'll need some pics of the finished product to be sure... I should probably color my hair this weekend, too. My roots are showing something awful.

my big plan is to open all the windows and enjoy the spring air that finally arrived this week.

Oh! This! Sixty (almost seventy) degree weather expected here this weekend. I'm planning on opening all three of my windows and enjoying the breeze. Are the in-laws just in town for the weekend?

I just scheduled two doctors' appointments and cancelled the cable. I feel all productive. Sad, huh?

vw, there are days (usually weekend days) where I feel all productive if I make it to the couch from the bed before noon. Focus on the positive. Besides, scheduling doctor appts and getting rid of cable? Huge! Seriously.

Fast healing ~ma to Leif!

I haven't been able to get through to Financial Aid or the Bursar's office for over two weeks. So, a couple of weeks ago, I sent an e-mail to each asking what was going to happen to my account if I dropped these classes.

Finally, I just had to drop the classes. And it's starting to look like I may have to drop my final class too.

So, I finally get through to financial aid today. "Yes, that will effect your aid." "What part of my aid?" "I won't know till after the withdrawal period ends." "What if I stay in one class?" "That will still effect your aid, probably in the same way." "How?" "I won't know..."

So, my whole plan of staying in one class to keep the aid was a stupidass one. She said the loans go first, but that MassRehab may choose to retract their aid as well, which is another $2,000 on top of the loans. And my grants might be taken back, and I may be inelligable for them again.

Stupid fucking body. Stupid fucking money-hungry organizations that couldn't care less about the people they're supposed to be helping. Stupid fucking financial aid for being completely unhelpful.

Oooh, that'll be pretty.

Fay, I think you'll do fabulously in Thailand.

The weather here was lovely on my walk in. I hope it'll stay this way....
