Kissy fish!

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Fishy fun!
Hec, I hope you get a far better job soon. Maybe for a company that will buy out your former one, and you can be the one to arrange the severance and such for your former bosses.
vw, I hope that you can get your monitoring over with quickly.
Kitty moving. When my family moved from Michigan to North Carolina, we brought our then 13 year old cat with us. We drugged him into some sembalance of quietude, but he still reached through his carrier's bars to prune the living hell out of the Christmas cacti. The cat lived another three years, and we still have the cacti.
When my sister moved her outdoor cat, the advice she was given was to keep it inside for a while before letting it run loose. Of course, by that time the cat was bat-shit crazy, and I'd warn you to expect a few disappearances, but it worked out okay.
So, the more I frequent Thailand-related forums, the more I am made aware that 'Thais don't like fat chicks'.
Good. Good.
Not that I'm presuming that the charming expats who hang out on these forums speak for the people of Thailand, per se, but I am getting the impression that I'm going to be a total circus freak in Thailand - and not in a fun way. Bras only available in A or B cups. Clothes only available in US size 8-10. Crap crap crap.
Remind me again why this is a good idea?
There is some discussion that cats navigate by sensing the electro-magnetic fields of the earth. Keeping the cat inside for a few days to a week is, with this thinking, to give him or her the time to suss out the electromagnetic profile of the new territory.
Feliway, a product that uses pheromones to calm the cat in new surroundings, may be useful during the confinement. Also, Recue Remedy may come in handy both during transit and subsequent confinement.
Remind me again why this is a good idea?
The school is run by people who don't hate teachers?
Yay for jammie day! Uh, episode~ma so as to put an end to this.
Keeping the cat inside will be a real challenge with kids. She will have the fun new house to explore though. My place up there has a 2nd floor and stairs and stuff. I suspect she will enjoy the leaping more than the stairs. Yikes will I have a lot to do when I get there.
Off to car pool then work. See ya in a bit. It's Friday and I don't wanna work.
I actually crocheted a fun, purple, springy hat a few months ago, and thought about wearing that, but then they told me no hats, because it could pull the headgear off...and in the process, pull off electrodes. That's no good, so no hat.
Is it the weight of the hat that could pull off the headgear, or the removal of the hat? I keep thinking of an oversized cunning hat, with flaps and strings like Jayne's....
It's the removal.
