It's all about choices, Faith. The ones we make, and the ones we don't. Oh, and the consequences. Those are always fun.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Sail, that's so cool!

Jen, I hope you can come to the F2F. And yes, you need to go to the pirate store.

{{vw}} Gentle hugs, b/c you should be sleeping.

::admires Jilli's svelte shape in her new t-shirt::

Jen, I hope I get to meet you at the F2F

Hey, Sparky, on Monday we have a new associate starting with us who is moving here from NZ. Maybe I can ask him questions about the leal community there for you.

Silly lawyer. He's probably moving here because he wants to make money or something. Wait until he sees the traffic to get to Tahoe. A number of NZ-ers who'd gone skiing in Tahoe told us how amazing it was to ski among the trees. NZ has no trees above 3000 ft, apparently.

My NZ cousin, upon my telling her that I had an interview, "You'll do fine. Tell 'em how much you love the Queen and let us know when to pick you up at the airport."

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Three cheers for JenPirate!

There was some other stuff I meant to say, and it being midnight, I can't remember anymore.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ahhhhhhrrrrggh.

The yowling kitty is female. Not obviously spayed but I can barely find the scars on my cats so this is not a scientific observation. Well-fed and quite friendly. Black calico. Very pretty. And darling but for the yowling outside.

But no tag on the damn collar.... Grrr.

I'm not taking in another cat because two is really more than I am suited for. I am really really not. I swear. I think.

You could maybe take it in for a few days, and ring the local pounds and police stations so that if the owner does call looking for it, they'll know that she's safe and where she can be found?

I actually just tried to take her in, because I am a sucker. With no tag (and I couldn't feel a chip but they might be wee) I don't know how to find her home. The bringing in here didn't go so well. Poor kittie. She's out on the (well-fed) street.

If this goes beyond another day of so, she'll be trapped well and I will hope to find her family....

All is well that ends in pizza.

Why is it that at four AM one finds oneself undecided about the meaning of pop lyrics you really haven't thought about in years?

On my way home tonight I heard "Me and Julio down by the schoolyard" on the oldies station, and now I've woken up earwormed.

I also realized that when I was a kid I never really cared exactly what him and Julio were doing down by the schoolyard....

Mostly lurking...

Oh, JenP, I'm so glad things are progressing smoothly. And I hope you can make it to the F2F. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go or not yet, but it would be wonderful to see you.

Jilli, that's so cool about the shirt! I can't fit into most of my Larges these days, so if a Medium suddenly fit, I'd be in heaven!

My Emily is having a rough morning. I'm not even sure what's going on, because she is very busy getting ready to leave for school, but I wish I could help in some way.

Oooooo! I forgot to mention it yesterday, but I got a lovely package from ChiKat, the poor overworked girl. Thank you so much! It made my day!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Owen now says, "I love you, too" when I say, "I love you." This is one of those big Mommy payoffs.

Awwwwwwwww.

IOmeN, I just finished renting a trailer to bring back my aunt's dishes and the hutch she kept them in from Michigan. I was never so surprised as when my cousin e-mailed my dad and told him they wanted me to have them. I'd always thought my cousin Ethan wanted the set and to find out they want me to have them just broke my heart it makes me so very happy. I'll admit it made my allergies kick into high gear. What a bunch of sweethearts I have in my family.

That's wonderful, Sail.

Yay, Jilli!
