Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You could maybe take it in for a few days, and ring the local pounds and police stations so that if the owner does call looking for it, they'll know that she's safe and where she can be found?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I actually just tried to take her in, because I am a sucker. With no tag (and I couldn't feel a chip but they might be wee) I don't know how to find her home. The bringing in here didn't go so well. Poor kittie. She's out on the (well-fed) street.

If this goes beyond another day of so, she'll be trapped well and I will hope to find her family....

All is well that ends in pizza.

Why is it that at four AM one finds oneself undecided about the meaning of pop lyrics you really haven't thought about in years?

On my way home tonight I heard "Me and Julio down by the schoolyard" on the oldies station, and now I've woken up earwormed.

I also realized that when I was a kid I never really cared exactly what him and Julio were doing down by the schoolyard....

Oh, JenP, I'm so glad things are progressing smoothly. And I hope you can make it to the F2F. I'm not sure if I'll be able to go or not yet, but it would be wonderful to see you.

Jilli, that's so cool about the shirt! I can't fit into most of my Larges these days, so if a Medium suddenly fit, I'd be in heaven!

My Emily is having a rough morning. I'm not even sure what's going on, because she is very busy getting ready to leave for school, but I wish I could help in some way.

Oooooo! I forgot to mention it yesterday, but I got a lovely package from ChiKat, the poor overworked girl. Thank you so much! It made my day!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Owen now says, "I love you, too" when I say, "I love you." This is one of those big Mommy payoffs.

Awwwwwwwww.

IOmeN, I just finished renting a trailer to bring back my aunt's dishes and the hutch she kept them in from Michigan. I was never so surprised as when my cousin e-mailed my dad and told him they wanted me to have them. I'd always thought my cousin Ethan wanted the set and to find out they want me to have them just broke my heart it makes me so very happy. I'll admit it made my allergies kick into high gear. What a bunch of sweethearts I have in my family.

That's wonderful, Sail.

Yay, Jilli!

So, when I decided I had enough energy to go to the grocery store, I forgot I was home alone and would have no help bringing the groceries in. I'm pooped and still have two more trips to carry up. Then I need to put them away. Damn this stupid body.

Always Anti-fascist!

Yeah, can definitely relate. Oh, and my tag seconds that emotion. That is at least a third of the reason why I like that show so much.

Our wings are not tired.

Ugh vw. But now you have food for the recharging!

Yeah, I decided I really needed to grocery shop today, because starting tomorrow I'll have the electrodes stuck to my head and then my head wrapped in gauze. I don't think I want to grocery shop looking like that. So, it was today or Monday. And, with being in the hospital, we really needed the food.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Particularly if you start in with the whole "braains BRAAAIIIIINNNNSSSSSSSSSS" thing. Even if you didn't plan on it, who could resist doing that?

Though if you WANT to go out, this is the crowd to make sure you look cute. If anybody can find you just the right top hat or tiara for a gauzy expedition its our Jilli.
