Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Nasty cells don't stand a chance against your kind, matey.

They be walkin' the plank as we speak!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, my old roommate was telling me she'd just had dinner a few months ago with Chris (the brother we knew) and Paul. So sad. Chris is such an amazing guy, I'm sure Paul was too.
By all accounts, he really was.

My heater in the living room is too smart. It knew the loveseat was nearby so it tripped some safety switch and turned itself off. Thus preventing a fire and making me cold.

So, now I can choose between being warm or getting out, because I slid the loveseat away from the heater and now it blocks the door.

I really need to get what furniture I can, fixed and get rid of the rest. Then? Maybe only one couch in my not!large living room.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Hey, Sparky, on Monday we have a new associate starting with us who is moving here from NZ. Maybe I can ask him questions about the leal community there for you.

My attempt at a meara:

I scored 100% on the signing test at work.

Awseome. Also, I read that as "singing" test and was suddenly very glad I'd never had to croon for my paycheck.

I have been a PMeSs these past two days.

Ugh, may it pass quickly. Awesome term. Which I will never have to use self-referrentially again (hey, you gotta take the good where you can, people)

This week is going to be a stinker. I was at work till 10 last night, and I expect I will be here that late every night this week. Blech. Better get back to it.

Boo. That's no good.

I think my interview went well. I felt as if I'd been pretty shiny.

Fantastic!

And, good advice to Beej, Aimee kicks ass, hugs and all good vibes to vw, though I missed the details, the good thoughts still count.

Aye, avast and be gone, ye nasty invaders.

Also, Hec, I'm sorry about the craptastic job situation; sounds like your book will benefit, and I wish you the best new, engaging job when you're ready for it. And while we're on the topic, job-ma to Spidra.

ETA: Skulll and crossbone, black rose, clear stud trio of earrings ordered. Thanks, Epic.

Compassionately intolerant

Maybe not for everyday wear, mind you, but I'm thinkin' Matey!Jen could use one of these [link] for the last treatment, eh? Or any other of the fine pirate accessories found there. There's a treasure troveofem.

Go YOU, Jen. Yay for good drugs and a stout heart.

Oh, a piratey tiara. That's just... well, kind of perfect, Beej. Heh. If I make it to the SF F2F, that will have to be prom wear, for sure. And thanks - yeah, good drugs are a thing of wonder.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Tomorrow night Wallybee will meet members of my family for the first time. AIIEEEEE!! Can our love survive?!?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Good luck, BT.

Jen, it really is great seeing you feeling okay and in such good spirits.

Timing of this is perfect. It's 9:10 and where am I? Oh, yes. Still at work. I will, however, be leaving in about 20-ish minutes.

Yay, BT!! Wallyworld and Wallybee are progressing nicely.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If I make it to the SF F2F, that will have to be prom wear, for sure.

You absolutely must come to the F2F so we can lavish our love and affection on you. I personally promise to give you footrubs and shoulder rubs and arm and hand rubs until you need a drool bib.
