Mal: And I never back down from a fight. Inara: Yes, you do! You do all the time!

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Oh, a piratey tiara. That's just... well, kind of perfect, Beej. Heh. If I make it to the SF F2F, that will have to be prom wear, for sure. And thanks - yeah, good drugs are a thing of wonder.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Tomorrow night Wallybee will meet members of my family for the first time. AIIEEEEE!! Can our love survive?!?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Good luck, BT.

Jen, it really is great seeing you feeling okay and in such good spirits.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

This week is going to be a stinker. I was at work till 10 last night, and I expect I will be here that late every night this week. Blech. Better get back to it.

Boo. That's no good.

Timing of this is perfect. It's 9:10 and where am I? Oh, yes. Still at work. I will, however, be leaving in about 20-ish minutes.

Yay, BT!! Wallyworld and Wallybee are progressing nicely.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

If I make it to the SF F2F, that will have to be prom wear, for sure.

You absolutely must come to the F2F so we can lavish our love and affection on you. I personally promise to give you footrubs and shoulder rubs and arm and hand rubs until you need a drool bib.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Where do I sign up for that?

All is well that ends in pizza.

"In this day of child abuse," executive producer Dulcy Singer told The Los Angeles Times in 1985

"In this day of witch hunts, prosecuters terrifying children into false memories and nightmares and other trauma..."

The McMartin fiasco is one of my hot buttons. Not only was it all about politics and headlines, but it caused terror among children, parents, and day care providers that spread throughout the country. On top of that add any *legitimate* abuse cases that got overshadowed in the political and media frenzy focusing on daycare and it was all around a very sickening period in this country.

BtVS didn't have to exaggerate much for Gingerbread.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

A slight x-post from my LJ: The merch guy at the Sisters of Mercy concert accidentally gave me a size Medium baby tee instead of the Large that I asked for. It fits me. Excuse me while I go gloat at the Body Image Monsters.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

JenP, I sure hope you do make the F2F, for we need to take you to the Pirate Store and show them what a real one looks like. Tiara and all. Very glad to hear the chemo isn't getting you down.

I see the world is still full of asshats and the Buffistas are, as usual, handling them with style and grace. ::die, muthafuggers, die!!!!::

IOmeN, I just finished renting a trailer to bring back my aunt's dishes and the hutch she kept them in from Michigan. I was never so surprised as when my cousin e-mailed my dad and told him they wanted me to have them. I'd always thought my cousin Ethan wanted the set and to find out they want me to have them just broke my heart it makes me so very happy. I'll admit it made my allergies kick into high gear. What a bunch of sweethearts I have in my family.
