No. You're missing the point. The design of the thing is functional. The plan is not to shoot you. The plan is to get the girl. If there's no girl, then the plan, well, is like the room.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Yep, that sums it up. They haven't figured out how to stop them yet.

I agree with everyone else who says no kitty yet. Pets are a very personal gift and I would hesitate to get one for someone I'd known a long time.

IBabyN, Aidan just recognized the written numbers between 1 and 10. I had no idea he could do that. He's also using more sentences correctly. Yesterday I found a piece of a duplo car that he was looking for and put it together and he said, "Oh! You found it!" which is pretty darn clear and appropriate.

Yesterday, Kara asked me how she was supposed to believe in Jesus if she can't see him. It's a fair question I haven't figured out quite how to answer yet.

Oh, and I think I forgot to mention this. We let her watch Jurassic Park a couple of weeks ago. At the end, when the t-rex breaks into the building and eats the raptor, she screamed, clapped and said, "Oh, I LOVE a happy ending!"

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Go, Aidan! Kara continues to make me smile with her unique view of the world.

Hey sj! How are you? What's up with the new possible apartment?

Laura - Mar 25, 2006 4:47:59 am PST #5312 of 10001
Our wings are not tired.

They totally screwed up her chemical balance when they gave her steroids for asthma. Granted, breathing was a plus. They damned well figure it all out and get her functioning properly pronto or there's going to be a Bitch ass kicking contingent headed to her hospital.

Sorry for the snottyness Stephanie. Blech.

Freaking out a bit.

What's up with the new possible apartment?

I don't want to talk about details about it until it is ours. We should know by Monday.

Oh xpost I find Deena and sj! hi!

Go Aidan! Nice progress. With Kara I think I'd try the "you can't see love but you believe in it" route.

I've rather skipped and skimmed, but are you still on the apartment hunt sj?

edit to note the answer found on xpost.

Monday isn't toooo long to wait.

Stephanie, I'm sorry, I winced in sympathy but didn't say anything. I hope the baby punkin sleeps a lot and gives you a break.

Hello Laura! It's lovely to see you this morning. I have packing to do, but I'm trying to enjoy a cup of coffee first.

I think that's a good idea, for Kara. She's pretty logical, and I'd rather not compare it to other things she hasn't seen that aren't real. That would come back and bite me later.

eta: obviously I'm a posty girl today. Avoidance will do that, I suppose.

Yes.

Deena, could you hop on AIM for a minute?

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for packing. I sometimes think the only way my house will ever be in order again is to move.

My sister arrives for a visit tonight. Her house is as bad as mine, and yet I feel that I should at least attempt some cleaning. (I've made a bargain with myself to only touch the keyboard after an hour of chore time)
