Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

My guess is the coldness makes the Gatorade taste less like pee, rather than being theraputic in its own right.
Hmmm, frozen headache versus tastes like sweet pee... It's a quandry.

There are undoubtably Thai people, and therefore magical soup, in Portland. But I am feeling iffy about the driving around aimlessly to look for it. I'll text Pamela and ask her. Of course now I want the crab pad thai that I had here last month.

Are there Thai people in Portland?

Try 85th St (possibly 81st). I want to say SW, but I'm not sure. Near all the car dealerships, there are a whole bunch of Asian restaurants and grocery stores, at least one of which is Thai.

I tried that soup from my local Thai place, Trudy. It was good and fairly therapeutic, but not magic. Alas. I might have to try another restaurant nect time I'm all stuffed up.

I think I actually know roughly where that is. Thanks!

I only hope my extremely limited supply of Portland knowledge may be of service.

VD Attack Plan! Presumably from the same people at Disney who brought us that very disturbing cartoon about menstruation. (Note - I have not actually watched this yet, as I assume that the audio at least is not work-safe.)

I'm not sure if Extremely Limited Supply of Portland Knowledge Woman can help with this one, but maybe there is another caped crusaider out there...

K-Bug turns 16 on Monday. She is NOT getting a car. But beyond figuring out what she is not getting, I haven't been able to come up with something cool for her.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

How about 16 things that represent each of her 16 years? Topping it off with a Matchbox car.

Ohhh good one Aimee! I was going to suggest a mini-shopping spree maybe? I got my first bouquet of roses on my 16th birthday. They were from a friend of the family. 16 pink roses.

Oooooh, creative Aimee - but that takes brainpower. Hmmmmmmmm. Still, I like.

Her boyfriend has already spoiled her with flowers, in general. When she had strep, he brought her a dozen roses and some Campbell's Soup.
