The sad thing about my to-do list is that the first thing on it is "make a to-do list".
Though what I'm actually doing is reading mystery short stories. I should put that on the list so I can cross it off when I'm done.

-t, I put your Sparkly Hug Bitch Blanket around my shoulders for comfort during my phone interview. Thank you! It made me feel much much better. As did all the support from the resta youze guys. Did you know y'all mean the world to me? Well, you do. You're the best.
So it went all right. Just a short informational interview with an HR rep who is going to pass on her notes to the Oakland office. She was very nice, which means: not too much, I suppose. She asked me what I've been doing since 2004, and laughed kindly when I explained it was a lot of parent/neighbor support chores but I wasn't really interested in an elder-care position, I want something interesting and challenging. I asked questions that showed I'd read the website. So we'll see! At least I have proved to myself I can get a callback every so often.

I am home from the UK, and have amazingly been able to skim rather than skip the messages in Bitches.Welcome home, Nora. And I am boggled at your skim skillz. I have another window open but I just know it will end up being somewhat of a lost cause.
But I also have my actual window open because it is a fabulously warm day. Oddly overcast, but deliciously warm. Puppycat is doing her meerkat thing looking outside.
