I'm so sorry, but if it makes you feel any better, my fun-time-Buffy party night involved watching a robot throw Spike through a window, so if you want to trade... no wait, I wouldn't give up that memory for anything.

Buffy ,'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

also, I did not eat any of the foods on the Accidental Hedonist list posted by Jessica the other day. Tom's mother cooked for us from Thursday night through Monday morning and it was all very, you know, old school. Roast lamb, boiled veg, boiled potato. Roast chicken, boiled veg, boiled potato. leftover lamb stew, boiled veg, boiled pototo. beef stew made with the toughest meat evah, boiled veg, boiled potato. You get the idea. When we got to London, I was so starved for spice that all we ate was curry, both Indian (OMG Teh Yum) and Thai.

Somehow the MIL even managed to make UK bacon taste like complete utter and total ASS. boggling. we stuck to musli after that.

Thank god for delicious, sweet, delicious, beer.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

"Suburban Shootout." It's British. A lovely English village, except that the ladies of the village are two rival mobs vying to recruit the new woman who's just moved in with her cop husband. She was invited to take a small ride with a lady and her creepy butch driver and has been tricked into pushing the button that blows up the wicker store whose proprietors have missed their protection payment.

It's like YOJIMBO with tweed.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I drank a lot of different real (cask-conditioned) ales while in St. Andrews, Edinburgh, and London.

s'okay, Vortex. We had so much family stuff going on in such a small amount of time, it would have been difficult. I shall console myself with the knowledge that I will see you in SF in May!

Tep, it was SO GOOD. Will update LJ with lists soon, hopefully.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have to go back to work today, all day.

That probably means I have to get dressed.

Blech.
