Watching tv in real time is kinda hard for me. I am used to dvr and I can't make the dvr bow to my wrath just yet, so it's live tv. Which is still tv - finally.

Surreality TV. I think you're on to something. Of course, when I turned on the TV one night right in the middle of TV Funhouse's "X-Presidents" short, that was PLENTY surreal.
