Buffy: Dancing with you is way better than trying to hook up with some good-looking guy. Xander: I think I liked it more when you were kicking me in my puffy groin.

'Get It Done'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Know what I love about internet shopping that you just don't get with window shopping? The clicking.

You get to "click" and "add to bag". And then, you can leave the store, with your stuff in the bag, and not be Winona Ryder.

I love it.

Signed, has 49 items totalling almost $700 in her Old Navy bag.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I just sprayed the magical bubbles in my bathroom.

They are working hard so I don't have to.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Well, I can safely say that I didn't fail either of my exams today, but that is only because I didn't take either of them. In my first class my professor didn't bother to tell me when I called to tell him I was sick last week that he pushed back the test until next week. In the second class my professor forgot to bring the make up test with him, so I have to get myself down to the other campus to take it some day this week. The upside is that I have more study time, but it was a frustrating day. The stupid people were out if full force today. I slept about 4 hours tonight, but I am wide awake now.

move out and draw fire

I really think half of college is learning to deal with bureaucracy.

I'm glad people are getting their cookbooks! I can't wait to see the finished product!

This is something I definitely need to work on.

I forgot to mention the Getty pictures were, in my last post. Pretty buffistas! Em is getting so big; she looks like a toddler.

I think I am going to attempt the sleep thing again.

Timelies!

Happy Birthday, Laura!

Looks like I'm staying home again today. Coughing and wheezy. This is getting beyond old. Hopefully I'll feel well enough to go out to Quilt Night tonight. I want to show off my quilt and get the new stuff for this month's quilt.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Laura's birthday is today? Much happiness to you, Laura.

Rest well, sj.

vw, you deserve much quiltiness. I hope you get to go for it.

Though I don't have enough antiseptic ointment and band-aids to try to put a sweater on my cats. Or try to trim their claws actually.

Cass, Harvey is so tolerant, and loves snuggling so much that he has been known to purr right through a claw-clipping session. Sammie, well, not quite so tolerant, she does NOT purr, and sometimes for both our comfort, I will trim one paw one day, then wait till the next day to finish off the other. In point of fact I had very little trouble getting the sweater on either of them - it was somewhat easier than putting a harness on. And you shoulda seen their furry little faces afterwards.

Thanks. I just talked to my dad, and he thinks I should go as a "test" to see how I do out in the world, because it's a short period of time, etc. Plus, I get to rest and relax tomorrow, since I'm not going in to work. So, I just might go.

Just e-mailed my abnormal psych prof to let him know I'm dropping the class. Also e-mailed disability services to see if they can help negotiate things with my other professors so I can finish the semester.

Boy, this is frustrating.
