It's called a blaster, Will, a word that tends to discourage experimentation. Now, if it were called the Orgasmater, I'd be the first to try your basic button press approach.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

It's funny. I don't sleep that well when Fella stays over...even though he sleeps elsewhere in the apt. (sleep disorders are me) But he sleeps like a rock (unlike at his house where he doesn't sleep much at all) and I don't ever feel tired.

I was talking with a friend once about the moment when you know that the one you're with is The One, and he said a big part of it for him was that he slept so well at her place. Everyplace else on the planet, he'd have bouts of fretfulness and nerves and insomnia worrying about his job, his family, his future -- but when he was in her apartment he slept. Deep, sound, surrendered, this-is-where-I-feel-completely-safe sleep.

That wasn't the one thing that did it for him, but it was definitely a factor.

This is eerily similar to what Fella said this morning.

eep.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

When Matt is home I go to bed earlier - even to sleep earlier - but i hae more problems staying asleep. When he is out of town, I go to sleep much later and sleep deeper, but for less time.

Librarian Warlord

When my DH is away I almost always sleep on the couch. The bed feels wrong without him. But I'm definitely with the folks who love both having the fellow home and having him go away for a day or two so that I can do my own thing, in my own way, on my own timeline.

Always Anti-fascist!

I can't imagine having that with anyone ever. And Tep, you weren't being "likes carrots" because it was a datey conversation. I hate when you're not talking about Him and she drags him in anyway.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

William, we had a bunch of news about Cyclone Larry for a couple days then nothing. Are things getting back to normal, or still a mess. (Well, not normal of course, but are supplies getting through) Did this involve any of your loved ones?

They're cleaning up now, and power, water and sewerage are out for a lot of the region. Plus, it's still raining heavily, which doesn't help. But, y'know, developed country and all; the govt's announced a $100 million relief package, they have about 700 professionals on cleanup, they reckon the power and water will be back on for most people within a day or two. The area's not as densely populated as the US hurricane-prone areas, it's a bit easier to get things back upright again. And no, I don't really know anyone in that part of the country.

Now I'm trying to picture appropriate carrot length and my mind dove into the gutter.

From a debate:

"When I train my dog, I use the carrot and the stick!"
"...That's disgusting!"

When my DH is away I almost always sleep on the couch. The bed feels wrong without him.

Aww. That's adorable.

Steph, for myself, I would like to hear more about the Boy. Specidically, I would like to hear more of you being so happy about him.

nod nod nod

Yeah, what he said!

I can't sleep if Pete's not there. Okay, yes, I also can't sleep unless Clovis is sitting on the pillow above my head, but still.

And, to make this a completely random post: I could have sworn I just saw Sean in the cafeteria. Very odd.

CRAP! Busted. I'm right now sneaking around the Evil Empire and keeping tabs on Jilli.

Either that, or my damnable doppleganger broke loose again.

I just don't want to jinx it, since we haven't defined anything, and both of us seem loath to do so.

Still....

I was talking with a friend once about the moment when you know that the one you're with is The One, and he said a big part of it for him was that he slept so well at her place.

*I* am terrible at sharing a bed, so that's never a good measuring stick for me. However, when I stay at The Boy's, he always sleeps much better, and much longer, than he normally does (which is not much).

I'm a human sleeping pill.
