Blech, that's no fun. (But financially, isn't it better to be laid off than quit, if you've got time to prepare? At least this way you'll get some severence -- not much of a silver lining, but better than nothing.)

I've hated those fuckheads and the way they make you suffer ever since you hit the 6-month mark in that job, and whatever the money stress, it'll be more than worth it for your health and emotional well-being to have you WAY THE FUCK OUT OF THERE. I've spent the last year waking up in the dead of night, watching you twitch in your restless sleep, and panicking at the thought of you having a heart attack or stroking out and me losing your love and your life because of that motherfucking JOB.
Compared to that terror, living on a budget? Pah, 'tis nothing. Less than nothing.
