Is Olivia giving you any more sleep? I was lurking either here or in LJ, and saw you'd been having a really tough time.
She's doing ok, considering she's just over six weeks. Owen didn't really sleep well until 10-12 weeks. It's just been harder because I have to stay up all day with Owen (who is trying really hard to give up his nap). She mostly sleeps at night, but it's still only in 3 hour blocks. Her big sleeping takes place during the day.
I've got Owen going to the sitter twice a week now until Olivia starts sleeping better.
It is so bizarre how it just happens so fast, once they make up their minds about it. I'll tell you, reading happens in pretty much the same way. They flirt with it for a long time, and then BANG!
It really is bizarre. Kids are weird.
Kids are weird. Or possibly our culture is weird that we don't anticipate the weirdness better.
Happy birthday, Mal.
Thanks for the job-ma. It's gotten to this - I'm going to get pushed before I have time to jump. Sucks, but there it is. I don't think I'll get anything happy in the severence either, except cashing out my 25 vacation days.
Not sure of the timing, but soon. (It's like a suspense movie, without the entertainment value.)
Oh, David, that really sucks. I am so sorry. I hope you are able to find something soon.
Aw, hell, Hec. I'm sorry.
Oh David, that really sucks. 'Ma to you.
Sorry to hear that Hec.
Here's hoping that Matt's interview goes very well, leads to something wonderful, and is just the beginning of a new era of good jobs for Buffistas with bad jobs.
Aw, David, I'm very sorry. I hope you find a new and non-soul-killing job ASAP.
On the plus side, I haven't spent my book advance (because I haven't gotten it yet). And all of my co-workers who were smart enough to leave before me will give me good references.
