No. And yes. It's always sudden.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

Bunny!

A bunny just high talied it through my yard. I'm calling Spring as having officially sprung!

Now tagless for your comfort.

Cindy, what about the 3 inches of snow we're supposed to get tomorrow? Do they know it's spring?

Happy First Birthday, Mal!!!!

Cashmere! Snow? What is this snow of which you speak? Ugh. Please. No snow (although it sure is cold enough). I have winter fatigue this year, worse that I should, considering it's been less oppressive than recent winters.

How are you? How are the babies, and Christopher? Any recent pictures?

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

SA + Tep = HOTT.

I'm sorry, Gris.

Placebo and David Bowie performing "20th Century Boy" live at the Brit Awards in '99.

thunk Eeeeeee!

Anne, I hope you feel better.

TJ's is always a bit of a madhouse every time I go. They're lucky they have such good food, otherwise the cranky wouldn't be worth it.

Has anyone else noticed the increase in people who block the aisles while talking on their cell phones? They're completely oblivious to other carts.

I bump into them and say "Excuse me" very loudly. I'm not very nice.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MALLORY!!!!

Yipes! Good luck, Sparky & DH!

Yay Em!

I need to upload some pictures. I'm horribly bad about that.

I have a really bad case of Winter Fatigue, too. I'm sick of it. Really sick of it. I want to be able to take the babies out in the sunshine, dammit.

I'm well. The babies and Christopher are, too. Owen has started singing. He now sings the theme song to the Wonderpets (new tv show) and the Good Bye Song from Bear in the Big Blue House.

My kid talks now and it's entirely freaking me out.

Herding cats for fun

people who block the aisles...

Why must they glare at me as if I have been rude as I navigate around them? The entire aisle has their personal name on it? One of these days, I think I'll treat myself to an outburst and ram someone's shopping cart, full speed ahead.

I thought it was raining hard 5 minutes ago, and now we've got a lashing downpour drumming on the roof and smacking against the windows. Water is splashing up out of the birdbath in gouts. The Universe has handed me an excuse not to deal with my yardwork today.

It's more difficult when you have babies. I have no excuse, except that I've become a baby, apparently, as I get hella cranky, any time I'm out in the cold for mere minutes.

Is Olivia giving you any more sleep? I was lurking either here or in LJ, and saw you'd been having a really tough time. I can't remember why I didn't post, but suspect I read your post way after the fact.

Hee!

It is so bizarre how it just happens so fast, once they make up their minds about it. I'll tell you, reading happens in pretty much the same way. They flirt with it for a long time, and then BANG!

She's doing ok, considering she's just over six weeks. Owen didn't really sleep well until 10-12 weeks. It's just been harder because I have to stay up all day with Owen (who is trying really hard to give up his nap). She mostly sleeps at night, but it's still only in 3 hour blocks. Her big sleeping takes place during the day.

I've got Owen going to the sitter twice a week now until Olivia starts sleeping better.

It really is bizarre. Kids are weird.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Kids are weird. Or possibly our culture is weird that we don't anticipate the weirdness better.

Happy birthday, Mal.

Thanks for the job-ma. It's gotten to this - I'm going to get pushed before I have time to jump. Sucks, but there it is. I don't think I'll get anything happy in the severence either, except cashing out my 25 vacation days.

Not sure of the timing, but soon. (It's like a suspense movie, without the entertainment value.)
