Jayne, you'll scare the women.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I have the day off!! I slept in! Wooo! I have coffee, and I am having a yummy lunch with friends at one!

The ball just fell out of my mouse, but I fixed it, and now it's actually working better. Hmm.

And yo, I TOTALLY didn't even guess my own quote right. What was YEARS ago! Wow.

My grandmother, whose maiden name was Murphy, used to remind us that she was an English Murphy not an Irish Murphy. Even as a little kid I was skeptical.

And... we seem to have someone shouting loudly that they are "not crazy" here in the library.

eta: Nope, not in the library, but in the Dean's office. And it's an alum.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

So nobody answered Aimee's question about who crowned her Empress?

Nope.

I've forgotten, so I'm not entirely sure, but wasn't it me?

Nope, not you.

That's always a good way to establish The Sanity...

I'm getting the pig!

I tried the "Maybe I have green on and you just can't see it" tactic. He waited for me to prove it and I couldn't because I have on black socks and black undies. That's when I got pinched.

I don't think I'm going to do the St. Pat's green beer bar thing tonight. It's been a long week and I have BSG S1 and S2 dvds to watch. (Same co-worker that pinched me handed over the dvds yesterday for me to borrow. It's the only reason he isn't limping right now.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Feel better, vw. Don't try to do too much.

That's funny, Sparky. My grandmother always said we were Scots, even claimed a clan and a tartan, but further genealogy research just keeps coming up with more English ancestry.

I'm not Irish at all, I just like the music. And the beer. And the corned beef. And the whiskey.

That grandmother was not the warm, fuzzy type, but I'm really glad I got to know her (she died when I was 12) because she was born in 1895, and definitely From a Different Era.

My husband made sure I knew I shouldn't put corned beef on the dinner table. Stoopid picky eater. At least he'll eat soda bread.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

vw--wishing you strength and healing.

Went to see a friend's play at South Coast Rep yesterday. ND did the sound for it, which was cool. It took us THREE HOURS to get there, due to motherfucking LA traffic. The play was very good (it was nominated for a Pulitzer), especially Brian Kerwin and Kathy Baker in the leads. We had dinner with our friend afterwards, and that was a blast. Sadly, I did not get to bed until after 1:30am, so I am awfully tired today. I may have to spend the day just sitting here staring at the wall and lisitening to Green Day, as I think that is all I am capable of.

And I, daughter of Molly Sue Moran, am wearing green today.

I'm a total Euromutt. Dad's hobby is geneaology, so he's traced people back pretty far -- it's cute.

I am: German, English, French Huegnot, Scots, Irish, and a soupcon of unknown tribe of Native American - probably Sac or Fox.
