Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Oh, God, you need those...this week?! I'm sorry...they're very good. I hardly noticed the time passing. Oops. (crams energy and motivation in sloppy Fed Ex box) I hurt my brain. I've got a note...

Bwah! Thanks, I needed the laugh.

the hardest to learn / was the least complicated

After catching up in the thread, I'm pretty sure someone needs to take the "Facts about Chuck Norris" list and substitute CN with "Mr. Clean Majik Eraser".

The Mr. Clean Majik Eraser brought down the Berlin Wall.

The Mr. Clean Majik Eraser is responsible for "Pleasantville."

The Mr. Clean Majik Eraser OWNS YOUR ASS.

There you go! That's the spirit! It's nice to see that positive can do attitude shining through. (kidding. I hope you do better than you expect!)

When have you ever known me to have a positive attitude concerning myself?

Always Anti-fascist!

Seriously, I have been working at double strength this week...I was gonna blame my obsessive temperament, but where's the fun in that? I've also decided I also need three cute minions to run around and do my research, live in fear of me, and take my moody crap(and if one of them would crush on me too, I'd never come home again.) Stupid math requirement for med school. D'oh.Much Rule 5-ma for sj. Homicide Rule 5: It's good to be good. It's better to be lucky.

{{{Nora}}} If it is too hard to say anything specifically supportive to your friend, all you have to say is, "I'm really glad you've been my friend all these years. I want you to stick around."

{{vw}} I hope that the docs get your lungs under control. Um, at least there are Olympic events to watch while at home??

The DH and I got a last minute hotel room in Monterey for the weekend and went to see the fishes. So pretty. Otters = Cute, but I can't quite forget when we saw them rip the heads off the dead baby chicks they were fed at the Auckland Zoo.

You'd think so, wouldn't you? Life on the other hand...not so much.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

Yeah, Nora, I'm going through something similar, sort of. I finally emailed her today and said, "look, it seems like right now I'm not helping you or making you laugh or being what you need, so I'm going to give you the space you need; but if you want a friend I'm here." and that took *a lot* for me to say, because normally I don't throw myself out there, I withdraw from the relationship. But it's tough, watching someone hurt themselves, and they don't want to be helped.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

SA, good on you for sending that email...

Now I'm in a weird place for being angry about feeling guilty, or something.

::sympathy:: Yeah. I know that feeling, too.
