Excellent. I was afraid it was fiddy.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
And did I mention that the decision to make this change came from people who don't actually do what I do, and have NEVER done what I do, so they have no idea of what it entails?
grrrr. I'm very sorry, Teppy. If I could stuff Oreos through the monitor to you to brighten your day, I would.
(Someone brought Oreos in for my team. According to the Ancient Occult Tradition of Oreomancy, JZ will find a dress for me, and tomorrow will, indeed, be better for all of us.)

Oh yeah. I saw the same mindset at CNET. Too cheap ass to get a voice recognition site license...then employees started getting RSI like it was going out of style. The voice recognition and accommodation up front would have cost them less than the lost work time, worker's comp settlements, and loss of trained workers did.
But somehow MBAs never learn this stuff.
I got an A- in my science class. Had I been better about keeping up with in class discussions it could have been an A, but with all the drama in my house over the last month, I let my participation slide.
I have a math class starting next week - so nice to have a week off between classes. I haven't taken a school break in a long time. Ahhhhh.
I guess I needed that nap. It was about four hours, for those of you playing along at home.
Do you wear wrist braces, Teppy? the caption editors here, who type and mouse all day long, almost all wear these: [link]
They really help.
Robin, I just sent the link to our sort-of HR person, telling her about them -- thanks!

Sweet! I only aspire to that level of dandyism. How cool is it to have your own signature fold? The Astaire! The Cooper! The Cagney!

Hec, as an arbiter of taste, you're the Bitches' Beau Brummel.
