I can't think of a favorite Spring day, and we don't have any special plans to look forward to this month. I should probably change that.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Nicole, that place looks awesome! Take lots of pictures and bring us all back a cabana boy, 'k?
Welcome, Fern! Now that you have delurked, stick around and hang out.
What Ellen said. Looks like a fabulous trip.
Congratulations, Cass, on completing your journey. I look forward to your impending re-personhood!

I don't want to post too much about this, but my personal judgment may be off, so please let me know at my profile email if I do, right away if I already have!
libkitty, there's no such thing as too much -- post what you need to.
On a lighter note:
Take lots of pictures and bring us all back a cabana boy, 'k?
I second this, especially the second part. I really don't think I should be cabana boy-less just because we have no cabanas.
Now I'm earwormed for: Yes, we have no bananas. Check out the music at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (go figure) [link]
And no, I'm not that old.
So in an effort to recharge the positive vibrations I'm going to ask everybody to post two things:
1) Remembrance of a favorite spring day.
2) Something you're looking forward to in the next month.
1) Today was not half bad, it being 80 degrees out. Nice. But I was at work. So I'ma go with the time I was on Easter break at Georgetown, and all my friends had gone home, so I went down to the tidal basin and sat by the blooming cherry trees and did my homework.
2) I'm going to San Francisco!!! I'm looking forward to THAT!
Wow. Those pictures are unreal libkitty. How awful. Good job done by the firefighters to keep it from taking out several blocks.
Spring. Not so much Spring day as first Spring I enjoyed at all. Growing up Spring meant melting snow, mud, floods, black flies, and all things ugly and cold. After I married I moved to Virginia and was stunned to discover that Spring could mean flowers, sunshine, and more flowers. It was so beautiful. I have never been to back to my city of birth in the Spring since then. I'll visit Winter, Summer, or Fall, but Spring is supposed to mean flowers, not mud.
Thing I am looking forward to this month. Whee! My sister is visiting for Spring Break. Yay!
Hmm, I don't have any exciting plans this month, but we had a beautiful spring morning today -- that was nice.
(It devolved into a wintry afternoon and evening - but that's just March for you.)
