Now you can luxuriate in a nice jail cell, but if your hand touches metal, I swear by my pretty flowered bonnet, I will end you.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Moms of children over 12 months:

Where do you change them?

I'm trying to decide if I want to get a changing table for Em's room or not. We currently use our dresser as her changing table, but once we switch rooms, the dresser's leaving her room.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Hello Lovelies! So nice to be caught up so I can talk (at least til I fall behind again).

Forgot to meara, as per usual...

libkitty, so sorry for your community's loss. Will keep you all in prayer for speedy (and well-insured) recovery.

Sail, so sorry for the loss of your aunt.

vw & trudes & juliana, feel-better-like-now-with-stern-looks-virus&bacteria-ward~ma to you all.

KaterinaBee & others... Toxic Boss Contest.

Had such a Saturday. It was like two or three Mondays banded together, disguised themselves as a Saturday and attacked.

Even after a quiet (mostly because I hid in my room with TV & homework) Sunday, it was kind of a relief to come in to work today. Does that seem right to you? I feel like sharing details, because it's thankfully getting funnier from a distance but I haven't written anything down yet. Maybe later.

sj, I don't do LJ. Is there another alternative for booklistyness?

Anybody else? Slightly exhausted hugs & ~ma all 'round.

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

I just friended you on lj, sj. Although I always want new books, I don't need any, but I like to take any opportunity to add b.org folks without the effort of having to search for them. Also, I'm pretty bad at reading there and horrible about posting, so I don't know if you want to add me, but feel free.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Toxic Boss Contest

Ooooh, beth, you need to nominate your DH's president for that lovely and phenomenally toxic little story you told on Saturday night.

Vibing get-better-and-please-don't-die-of-ennui vibes to vw and Trudy.

Now I'm off to the women's lounge near our cafeteria, for lo, I feel like ass. Clearly something on this board is contagious.

If I only had a brain...

An Internet gossip magazine has published pictures of a co-worker snogging his girlfriend. Now I am traumatized. Not in the ewwwww way, but rather in the "must. keep. mind. on. meeting" way.

Because books.

Aimee, we never had a changing table for Sara. I just always changed her our bed. And once she was toddling, and we were in her room, on the floor. If you need the space for something else, I'd say you really don't need it.

Note to Board: JZ feeling like ass is nowhere near as fun as feeling JZ's ass.

Get better! Drink some seltzer!

sj, I don't do LJ. Is there another alternative for booklistyness?A New Song by Jan Karon (hardcover)

Sure! The reason I didn't post it here too was because I am disorganized and thought it would be easier to have everything in one place. E-mail me at my profile addy if you want anything.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Thanks, Amy!

Maybe I'll do that. Get an "underbed" bin and put it undr the crib with the diaper supplies in it that way it can go out of sight.
