Zoe: Don't think it's a good spot, sir. She still has the advantage over us. Mal: Everyone always does. That's what makes us special.

'Serenity'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Walmart online doesn't appear to have the Due South box set.

Crud.

Well, Off to work.

See you later, folks.

Trust my rage

My current mental project is to plan What We Will Take on the Plane. Our stuff is *supposed* to take 3-4 weeks to arrive, but I'm not holding my breath. I think we are authorized an extra bag per person so right now it's two adults, a baby, 9 checked bags, two roller bags, two backpacks, a diaper bag, a car seat, and two kennels containing a dog each. I have a prety good idea of what Joe and I need for a week or so of living out of suitcases (we did it in Brazil for 3 months) but I'm still working out what we will need for Ellie. I have no idea how we will get to the airport, although the government is paying so we may just get a shuttle.

Oh, and yay for Fay! Bangkok sounds really cool.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Congrats, Fay!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

My lord, Steph. Good luck with all that.

Daniel, I found it at Best Buy, but even there, only the old, expensive set showed up on the computer.

Day off today, whoot!

Our wings are not tired.

Yay Fay! Thailand F2F would be nice.

I'm getting the pig!

Congrats, Fay! That's wonderful.

Day off today, whoot!

So very jealous.

Oh dear, Stephanie. That's insane making and makes me want to never have children. (Not totally true. I already had that moment when I tried to go to a movie with my sis and her two kids the last time she visited. It took probably three hours just to get everyone out the door of the house.)

I got in my bed last night a little before 8pm and didn't get back out of it until almost 6am. I possibly slept too much because now I'm just groggy. Like whoa.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Congratulations, Fay! I hope Thailand treats you right.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Congrats, Fay!

move out and draw fire

Stephanie, you have my sympathy and understanding. Living out of suitcases is orders of magnitude less tolerable with a baby.

Congrats, Fay! I hope you love it there!

Today is DH's birthday. He'd asked for, and received, the day off, but then the week got busy so he said he'd come in for a half day. His office arranged a party for him (cake and ice cream and stuff), but his boss first forgot that he'd given DH the day off, and then today forgot about the party and sent DH to a bunch of meetings all morning.

Resolution: kind of the worst of all choices. DH found out about it, but the party didn't happen by the time he left at 2:00.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

All my bowls are clean;

I, like Daniel, read this wrong the first time.

Talk about TMI.

Heh. It would only be TMI if I actually meant what you thought you read.
