But if the world doesn't end, I'm gonna need a note.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's also not fun, so I hope you stop wanting to murderize the strangers soon.

Is anyone else hearing Dionne Warwick belting out "THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FO-O-O-OR"?

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Well, I *wasn't* ...

See if I roadkill any interesting critters to send you now, Mr. T...

The status is NOT quo.

CASS! I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to visit you in Portland.

If they're really interesting, I think I'd wish on them a better future than being mowed down on the road and their corpse mailed to another continent. Just save 'em there and I'll check them out next time I drop in.

Ugh. I am just having a POINTLESSLY crappy few days. I mean, it's nothing that really needs to be dramatic (my coworker's father is in a coma and unlikely to survive. Things could be a lot worse for me). Someone hit my car (not really any damage, it just added to the stress), people around me are being drama queens, someone copied and pasted and emailed from a friendslocked post on LJ...etc, etc. End result is that I am stressed the fuck out. And tomorrow does not promise to be any better (I have a dental appointment at 8:30AM, and am supposed to "stop by" work, and then work from home while waiting for the cable guy, but I have a feeling I"ll get sucked into shit at work, and be all "crap I'm late", etc, etc)

Baby Girl Zoe & Baby Boy Jack

Congrats! Heh. Anyone remember the TV show "Zoe Duncan Jack and Jane"?

Hmm. And from the sound of it, no one else is having much better days than I am. Stupid week!!

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Pummeling ~ma, Katie, that you might figuratively beat bad!boss's ahem. It sounds nervewracking, but exciting and kind of fun, too. I mean, how often do people say they're going to follow through on something like this and then don't. I'm so proud of you! Plus, this

I shall wear the suit I bought for those people and say, I regret this attire didn't meet your expectations.

is the absolute best.

Healing ~ma, vw, that your pain might dissipate rapidly, and your drugs works well in the meantime. You've gone through so much and are so strong about it. I'm amazed by all you do.

Moving ~ma, Cass. I hope you have lots of fun mixed in with the stress, and that the stress isn't too bad.

I was going to go to a dinner with a group to greet our new prospective employee tonight, but I'm going to a funeral. RIP Dawn. May she still be as cheerful in the next life, but have less pain.

Our wings are not tired.

Yay for vw's mom bringin on the comfort. Take care of yourself and let others take care of you too.

Yay for Cass and some moving~ma too.

Kick butt Katie B - I can't wait to hear the report.

And life - back off meara right now! I mean it!

DH gets home from CA tomorrow morning at 5:51am. Yay! He's been missed. Bobby is going to drive to Fort Lauderdale with me to pick him up.

Snow not likely to happen. I did wear a sweater at baseball practice tonight. It was windy and a bit nippy. The weather site says it's 72F (22C), but it doesn't feel like it.

Crazy Floridians.

It's 55 and pouring down rain here, and I'm about ready to turn on the a/c. Though that's due mostly to the fact that the heat, which I don't control (there is no thermostat in my apartment, for real), is BLAZING. People start taking off clothes as soon as they walk in my apartment door, and not even for porny reasons.

Must do dishes. I have no clean bowls left, and only one clean fork. I am so lazy, even the sloths point and laugh.

meara - Mar 09, 2006 5:07:58 pm PST #2996 of 10001

Heh. Steph just wants her visitors to take their clothes off.

And life - back off meara right now! I mean it!

And off my coworkers! One of them, her dad had surgery today and slipped into a coma and may not make it. And another one was carted off to the hospital this afternoon--she's 5 months pregnant, and was clutching her abdomen, poor thing.

Our wings are not tired.

I had to do the dishes yesterday because all the spoons were gone.

(if you decided to escape the cold and rainy for Spring Break I promise I would clean up a bit)
