I did wear a sweater at baseball practice tonight. It was windy and a bit nippy. The weather site says it's 72F
Crazy Floridians.
It's 55 and pouring down rain here, and I'm about ready to turn on the a/c. Though that's due mostly to the fact that the heat, which I don't control (there is no thermostat in my apartment, for real), is BLAZING. People start taking off clothes as soon as they walk in my apartment door, and not even for porny reasons.
Must do dishes. I have no clean bowls left, and only one clean fork. I am so lazy, even the sloths point and laugh.
Heh. Steph just wants her visitors to take their clothes off.
And life - back off meara right now! I mean it!
And off my coworkers! One of them, her dad had surgery today and slipped into a coma and may not make it. And another one was carted off to the hospital this afternoon--she's 5 months pregnant, and was clutching her abdomen, poor thing.
I had to do the dishes yesterday because all the spoons were gone.
(if you decided to escape the cold and rainy for Spring Break I promise I would clean up a bit)
Sorry for the post and dash once again. Must leave for airport early which means must sleep now.
G'night.
Yikes meara. So much stress. Some ~ma for the coworkers too.
Back home from work.
I forgot to mention that I got my first paycheck yesterday, direct deposit, split as I asked between two different accounts.
Wooo!
I promised Andi I would get the 2 season Due South DVD set at Wal-Mart when I got my first paycheck.
Stopped at two Wal-Marts on my way home. No DS, dammit.
Oh hey. Numberslutting. I started the day with one post 100 posts back, too. Serendipity.
Daniel, doesn't that first paycheck feel GREAT? Woot!
Steph just wants her visitors to take their clothes off.
Heh. This is generally true, especially when they're Buffistas. But it's also true that none of the apartments can control their own heat. So the ones on the ends, with 2 outer walls, and the ones with balconies and large sliding-glass doors, tend to FREEZE, while the apartments in the middle, with no balconies and only one outside-facing wall (like me) end up roasting.
All my bowls are clean; I left the cutlery and coffee mugs for tomorrow. I feel so accomplished. Sure, the rest of the apartment looks like a bomb went off in it (a bomb composed mostly of clean laundry, comics, and books, but a bomb nonetheless), but I by god have clean bowls!
go clean bowls!
It has gotten really cold outside. icy even. ( and I am a new englander - I still know what the word means) imagine my surprise to see the articla talking about the possibility of an inch of snow in sf. Crazy .
whee paycheck! is the job as evil as you first thought, Daniel?
and I forgot - DH is home! yay! his next trip[ is somewhere in area of Laura and askye - but how near = not very.
so far no snow here or at my sisters house in pacifica
I misread "bowls."
Over here in the corner, snerking.
