Wash: Well, I wash my hands of it. It's a hopeless case. I'll read a nice poem at the funeral. Something with imagery. Zoe: You could lock the door and keep the power-hungry maniac at bay. Wash: Oh, no, I'm starting to like this poetry idea now. Here lies my beloved Zoe, my autumn flower, somewhat less attractive now she's all corpsified and gross...

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I can't even.

It's snowing in Portland. SNOWING!

Good luck, Cass!

Somehow, I'm thinking there needs to be an extra helping of 2 to help cope with nasty ol' A. So I'm wishing for that.

We had rain earlier today here in southern Arcticada, IJS ...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Meanwhile, here it's getting up to 36 over the weekend (97 for the Celsius-challenged). It's playing havoc with my plans. Wallybee has suggested swimming, I've been evaluating the suggestion. Pros: Wallybee in a swimsuit. Cons: Me in a swimsuit.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Cass, even we might be getting snow soon. Oddness.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Much moving~ma, Cass.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Forget north. I'm going to Mexico. I hear the drugs are cheap.

Though if that plan falls through, I will be in the Bay Area tomorrow sometime. Hopefully without the snow.

I am massively at MEEEEEEP stage 4 right now. Time to go finish all of the pre 4 a.m. packing.

You are amazing
Aww, thanks. (Also? I suspect this statement is delusional. But I am going to keep reading it and smiling anyway.)
It is not normal behavior to almost go through the phone at a tenant with the intent to murderize them. It's really not.
It's also not fun, so I hope you stop wanting to murderize the strangers soon.

Is anyone else hearing Dionne Warwick belting out "THAT'S WHAT FRIENDS ARE FO-O-O-OR"?

Well, I *wasn't* ...

See if I roadkill any interesting critters to send you now, Mr. T...

The status is NOT quo.

CASS! I'm so excited for you! I can't wait to visit you in Portland.

If they're really interesting, I think I'd wish on them a better future than being mowed down on the road and their corpse mailed to another continent. Just save 'em there and I'll check them out next time I drop in.

Ugh. I am just having a POINTLESSLY crappy few days. I mean, it's nothing that really needs to be dramatic (my coworker's father is in a coma and unlikely to survive. Things could be a lot worse for me). Someone hit my car (not really any damage, it just added to the stress), people around me are being drama queens, someone copied and pasted and emailed from a friendslocked post on LJ...etc, etc. End result is that I am stressed the fuck out. And tomorrow does not promise to be any better (I have a dental appointment at 8:30AM, and am supposed to "stop by" work, and then work from home while waiting for the cable guy, but I have a feeling I"ll get sucked into shit at work, and be all "crap I'm late", etc, etc)

Baby Girl Zoe & Baby Boy Jack

Congrats! Heh. Anyone remember the TV show "Zoe Duncan Jack and Jane"?

Hmm. And from the sound of it, no one else is having much better days than I am. Stupid week!!
