Buffy: He ran away, right? Giles: Sort of, more. turned and swept out majestically, I suppose. Said I didn't concern him. Buffy: So a mythic triumph over a completely indifferent foe? Giles: Well, I'm not dead or unconscious, so I say bravo for me.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm also incredibly excited, though I shouldn't even fiscally think of it because the money I saved for it got used to put out some fucking fire or other...I've lost track. But I'm tired of being that damn Responsible. Fuck it. By the time I sort out my money, we'll all be in the rest home for old liberals, anyway.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I know, Sparky! I've been spectacularly bad about taking advantage of all this proximity. Really need to fix that. Shabbos meal is a great idea, whenever your schedule opens up again. Zipping through the blessings before we watch BSG only goes so far...

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Yay, Fay! Good luck making your decision.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

We'll probably still zip through the blessings, but since we don't have cable you'll have to watch BSG on your own. I'll talk to my DH about what our schedules look like, and when he might have the bicycle that's in the living room in a number of pieces put back together, and get back to you in email. If you play cribbage you might be the perfect Friday night guests.

I have played cribbage. I might remember how...

It's the sitting down and eating dinner part that we don't do if it's just us, and I miss it. There's nothing stopping us but our own laziness, but that is formidable.

Erika, I support the casting off of fiscal reponsibility. I generally do, which probably means you shouldn't listen to me at all, but there it is.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh, I *so* went there, too.

Me too.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Everything in my head seems to earworm back to Shoop or I Bruise Easily. With disturbing ease.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

My earworm went back to Eminem's "Without Me". Gah.

guess who's back, back again...

Mostly lurking...

I'm at work. I made it to two classes. Go me.

Or something.
