Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'm no expert on pregnancy and weight gain therein. But even I know that dieting during the last two months is insane. And those people are allowed to reproduce?

Feel better, Hec.

Feel better, vw.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I feel that if other people can tell me that I must have a baby, I should be able to tell other people that they are not allowed to.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

The smaller a baby is, it seems, the "cuter" it appears to those women.

Huh. What is this, Munchausen's for the unmotivated?

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I’m on day 16 of Levoquin (working on my second 14 day course). I wonder if memory loss is a side affect, because my brain just. won’t. work. And neti pots just don’t seem to do anything for me.

Libkitty, I'm having mild-to-moderate side effects from just 5 days of Levaquin (the jaw pain I've been mentioning lately). Not everyone experiences side effects from any given medication, but I've read a LOT about Levaquin in the past 4-5 days, and if you don't feel right while taking it, PLEASE stop taking it and ask for an antibiotic that isn't a quinolone.

Choking, snorting, laughter is inappropriate, right?

Deeply. You should be ashamed of yourself.

had a friend deliver this afternoon. Idiot woman refused to eat the last 2 months cause she didn't want to gain weight - no doubt from her husbnd calling her "fat" all the time - 40+ weeks and he was 5 pounds. FIVE POUNDS

And this is a FRIEND? Good christ.

Of course, I'm not good with the dieting in any case, but when pregnant I can't even imagine having any willpower. I fear if I ever get pregnant I"ll gain like, 60 pounds.

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Heh, try 57 pounds, meara. And it was as bad as not gaining enough. I ended up on 6 weeks of bedrest because of toxemia. I made sure with my second pregnancy to only gain 27 pounds so it didn't happen again.
