Germany! Woo! 9 hours of sleep! Hoo!
Finally got over to my mother's yesterday and discovered that there were TWO packages from vw - the cookbook that I expected, and my blanket! Yay! It's awesomely awesome, so soft and cozy and perfectly suited to me. And that's not all, vw put in a bonus comfort shawl (how does she do it?) in gorgeous colors and soft and warm. I've been bundled up in both of them all morning. They even smell good.

Whee! I sat down and read through the entire cookbook last night. I'm gonna make some of these things, dammit.
Oh, mom had also received two packages from Dillard's that we are pretty sure are the things I ordered from them last August since there was a "Returned due to natural disaster" sticker on them. I can't believe they found me!

I was a little worried it got lost in the mail, but was hopeful to hear from you. I'm just glad you got it and like it. I fell in love with both things while making them. I hope they get lots of wonderful use and love from you.

I have no idea of the current market, but I would absolutely get pleasure worth that much $ to me from that ring -- and I'm not sure there's a better way of valuing frippery.
At this point, probably...the deadline was 3-1.
But if they like the idea, I'd probably have to revise a lot anyway, but...sigh.
