See, Vera? Dress yourself up; you get taken out somewhere fun.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Always Anti-fascist!

At this point, probably...the deadline was 3-1. But if they like the idea, I'd probably have to revise a lot anyway, but...sigh. The one place I've got anything going and I don't. Damn.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

For many years, they have been trying to get the sunol steam train to stop in Niles - It has finally happened. But will some one tell me why - on my first weekend to volunteer must it be raw and treatening rain.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

There are days I HATE being the "mother" of two teenaged girls. I can't expand on that - but damn, this is hard.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

You are building a beautiful world, Maidengurl.

Oooh! Fay going to Prague or Thailand would be cool! Best of luck, Fay!

meeting with your classmates at 7:30am before the 8:15am Saturday class is really, really evil.

Good god. That IS evil.

but still. That's 10 hours sleep. I guess I needed it.

Oh my GOD, not ten hours! :) sigh. I would love to get 10 hours every night, but instead I end up getting 8 weeknights and like, 12 on weekends. Sleeping until 3:30PM wasn't quite teh plan today, but I just didn't want to get up, at all. I was having bizarre dreams about Erinaceous, Mormons, and the some kind of Law and Order-esque mystery. NO idea why.

I think the dinner party represented 3 of the 4 Democrats in the Foreign Service.

Sniff. That's so sad.

Good lord Raq! You really are cursed at the moment!! I hope your feet are OK.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

I forget who else has teen girls.

Do menopausal women with the mentality of preschoolers count (literally, I'm talking about the 50ish women at the group home)?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Remote is found! As suspected it was kicked far under the couch. Pulling the couch out to vacuum (scary back there) turned up the remote, half of JZ's cashmere sweater set and Amphigorey.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

No raccoons? Ah well. I shall have to make do with my desktop calendar pic of a baby 'coon hanging from a tree branch.
