I like money better than people. People can so rarely be exchanged for goods and/or services!

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Me comparing it to a lava lamp didn't help.

Snerk.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Some people just have no sense of humor.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Peaceful tv-watching, Raq. What a day!

Germany! Woo! 9 hours of sleep! Hoo!

Finally got over to my mother's yesterday and discovered that there were TWO packages from vw - the cookbook that I expected, and my blanket! Yay! It's awesomely awesome, so soft and cozy and perfectly suited to me. And that's not all, vw put in a bonus comfort shawl (how does she do it?) in gorgeous colors and soft and warm. I've been bundled up in both of them all morning. They even smell good.

Oh, pictures: [link]

Whee! I sat down and read through the entire cookbook last night. I'm gonna make some of these things, dammit.

Oh, mom had also received two packages from Dillard's that we are pretty sure are the things I ordered from them last August since there was a "Returned due to natural disaster" sticker on them. I can't believe they found me!

Oh, yay, -t! I'm SO glad you got everything! YAY!

It's all wonderful, vw! Thank you so much.

I'm sorry I took so long to actually get over there and collect it, and put your mind at ease.

Always Anti-fascist!

I'm *so pissed* at me right now. I sent something out so full of stupid mistakes that it looks like Cletus wrote it. Probably. Such a loser. I guess I can add another rejection to the pile.

I was a little worried it got lost in the mail, but was hopeful to hear from you. I'm just glad you got it and like it. I fell in love with both things while making them. I hope they get lots of wonderful use and love from you.

{{{erika}}} I hate it when I do that.

If I only had a brain...

Is Plei around? I want to know if this is a reasonably-priced fake sapphire ring. I love the shape a lot.

Bummer, erika. Would resending a cleaned up version be out of the question?

Pretty ring, Betsy, though I don't know from prices.
