No. And yes. It's always sudden.

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Yay SA!

I just started reading through Bitches and got to read the beginning, middle and happy ending of the tale of SA's lost bag. It was all there. Pathos! Drama! Regrets! Sorrow! Cell phoning! Elation!

Who needs TV? I have the Buffistas.

I saw an article recently about a guy in... Minnesota? maybe? who did just that on Craig's list. It was a rousing success until someone tried to take is stove and caused a gas leak.

I think I posted a link to it here, too. back in post 1270.

ION, this headline intrigued me, but the story isn't worth a link:

Oscars viewers to hear word "bitches" in song

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

SA, that's excellent!

Maybe my $100 bucks will turn up too.

Steph, I was a kind of boggled that she put you on Cipro, but I figured as the drug queen you'd know if something was off. Write the letter, for sure.

Wow, I hope they don't have heart attacks or something.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

SA, I am SO glad that your bag showed back up. What a relief!

Cass, moving~ma to you, love. I know all too well how hideous that can be.

YAY on Bitchly significant others! Billytea, I am voting that the new GF's nickname should be "WannaWally" or possibly "Wallybee".

Beej, I'm so psyched for you that Fella is turning out to be such a catch. Ain't love grand? What's not so grand, however, is the UTI. I have that same awful reaction to Cipro, but I must admit that it is about the only antibiotic that really kicks my UTI's ass when I get one. Try taking it only with a big meal like dinner. That helped me a little.

In meme news, I am getting down to Stevie Wonder and grading papers. I have a crapload to do tonight, including packing for a couple of days in the Bay Area with some girlfriends (sorry, Bayistas, not there long enough to visit).

It is also March.

Do you all remember last March?

t looks around suspiciously

I'm in a good mood, March. Don't fuck with me.

Oh, lord, March.

Kristin! I don't think I've posted with you in ages.

I love thinking of beth as the self rightous library goddess.

Yay, SA! I'm sorry you had to have your whole life pass before you before they found it.

Insano right now (see Bitches) but I'm just holding on to SF in May. Also, my brother might be in DC end of March, beginning of April, so if he comes, I'll be there! DCistas, you are notified!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I know all too well how hideous that can be.
The pit that was my office? Stuff piled for EVER? Sorted, shredded and filed. Totally.

I am a fucking rock god.

(I do have a stack of papers that still need to be dealt with but they are at least seperate and I can start dealing with them next.)

Kittenish is demanding snuggletime. She's a little disturbed at all of the chaos around here.

Tomorrow? The office closet and the Sorting of the Electronics.

Dessert is berry-flavored Tums. Kill me now?
