'Bring On The Night'

Spike's Bitches 29: That sure as hell wasn't in the brochure.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Well nuts.

Gnagggggh.

This evening's performance went very well, though. I was v. worried up until we were actually on the stage, but then I could feel it going really well--nothing of the mad cheesiness that was present when we rehearsed. Whew! And when we got off stage, one of the other kings was *crying*. Go us! We make people cry! Um, er...

However, not loving that there was this girl who I havne't seen in a long time, and always thought was cute, who was talking ot me lots and lots before the show, and flirting like MAD...and I'm thinking "huh"....and then after the show I look around to see where she got to...and she's off making out with the person who is apparently her GIRLFRIEND. GRRRRR. Makes her whole "you need to come SEE ME" thing a little less enticing. Harumph.

Snuggles to everyone.

Had a day at work. One of the residents had to go to the ER. His temp was at around 87 degrees, no bowel sounds, no results from two enemas, thready pulse. There was no word on his condition when I left. ~ma requested.

Here is a pic of the new hair. Daniel took it tonight, after it had been napped on, and worked in for 8 hours. This is moderately cute hair, but not the exceptionally cute hair fresh from the salon. [link]

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yeah, a little less ooh-la-la now. Bummer.

~ma for your resident, Andi.

I think I have tossed, donated or otherwise gotten rid of about a third of my things. And there is more to go. I have got to learn to live a more austere life.

And sleep. Because I am just totally exhausted.

I think I am going to post a listing for a free garage sale on Sunday. For all of the stuff that needs a home and that I don't have the time to find a paying home for. So a garage sale but with free stuff...

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Had a lovely phone call with my Saturdate tonight. I seem to be girlfriended once more. (Let the hunt for a nickname begin!)

Mostly lurking...

I'm at work. I'm exhausted. Let's hope I can make it all day.

I met with Disability Services this morning. They're sending a letter to all of my profs about what's going on. They even may be willing to send a letter to work, since I work on campus. I'd rather not do that yet, though. Holding off...

I'm nervous. Hoping to keep the tears at bay for the day. Didn't even talk to my parents last night about what's going on. I'm just so embarrassed. I feel like such a failure. I just have this sinking feeling that this isn't going to work out.
